- Lungomare Tysandros, 68 - Join chef Mimmo at “Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano” in Giardini Naxos, which boasts a view of the ocean and the Bay of Naxos and Taormina. Enjoy a Coffee Break and sample wines accompanied by a selection of appetizers including focaccia, cured meats, and regional Sicilian cheeses. Don the apron and embark on the creation of three classic Sicilian culinary delights: a starter, a seafood main course, and a variety of fresh pastas crafted by hand by the participants.
Experience the authentic taste of Sicily, from the sweet Pachino cherry tomatoes to the renowned Bronte pistachios at the foot of Mount Etna. Inhale the aroma of eggplants as you whip up a traditional pasta alla norma, and savor the essence of the local waters with freshly caught fish seasoned with regional spices like Aeolian Island capers and olives from the nutrient-rich volcanic soil. Then, gather around the table for a typical celebratory lunch just steps away from the sandy shore and the waves. To cap off this memorable day, participants will receive certificates and a signed apron as mementos.

Outstanding cooking class experience. - The entire cooking class was perfection. We loved this experience so much, from the market at the start of the class, to learning about local produce/meals, to cooking everything and then enjoying the meal. It was amazing value and would highly recommend.

Chef Mimmo is awesome, great Sicilian experience - So impressed with the family that makes this possible. Mimmo's mother and brother were so involved to make this successful and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Loved the experience, the food was some of the best we ate in Sicily and we met some delightful ladies from Ireland and another family from Alameda, CA that was the icing on the cake for us. Would highly recommend for anyone that has done cooking classes or for anyone that might want to try it out for the first time. Thanks Chef Mimmo, we will tell everyone we know to come visit your place.

Must do and perfect Italian night out - The only place in the world to learn to make the perfect pizza! Staff here where great really shared their knowledge true Italian feel.
The pick up from the town was great and the wine was outstanding and that’s comming from non wine drinkers. Great experience and would recommend to anyone who fancies a night out with a activity

Fun and informative - Highly recommend. We had a really fun day with Chef Mimmo and other guests learning to make pasta and other dishes which we then enjoyed eating. We started at the market in Taormina and then we were transported by private taxi to the family restaurant by the beach where the class began. Chef Mimmo is a great character as is his wonderful Mum who helped with our food preparation. We are looking forward to making the dishes when we get home.

Really enjoyed making pasta and eating it. Learnt a lot. - Lovely view and restaurant. Great pasta making and cooking. Lots to eat and drink with lovely people. Good fun! Mummy is a great chef and teacher.

10/10 - A must go!!! - The entire day from start to finish was fantastic. Chef Mimmo met us, and brought us to the market to purchase our ingredients, before a very comfortable (and quick) journey to his amazing family restaurant, open since the 1980s! We met his entire family and a special shoutout to his mother who helped me making my pasta!
The dishes were a joy to make and really made us understand how some of the best food is made with some simple, fresh ingredients. Learning about where these traditional dishes come from and how they are put together was amazing.
Overall, this cooking class was a great learning experience, with a small interactive group that made the entire day such a joy, we even had a chance to have lunch and wine together during the day!
We cannot recommend this enough to any couple, family or individual who want to do something special during their trip!

Not what we had in mind.. - We attended this cooking class with Mimmo in July. There was a big group of people wanting to learn how to cook that day and we got to sit with another beautiful couple. We had so much fun socializing and talking with the couple and to be honest, this was the highlight. Chef Mimmo has a very friendly and warm vibe and so does his mother but to be honest, we never cooked in the entire day. We learnt how to roll pasta, yes. But other than that we only prepared the food. Chopping and putting into bowls. Then the food was taken to the back to be cooked. I think we had imagined a station were we could have actually cooked the food and learnt about the heat and the seasoning. Now everytime the food was going to be cooked we were seated in the restaurant with a bottle of wine and snacks while we waited for them to cook; not exactly what what you imagine when you pay for a cooking class. Also this meant that the pasta we made didn’t end up on our table in the end since it was sent into one big pot with everyone elses! This meant we didn’t get a chance to taste how our pasta techniques had worked. The couple definitely made our day and without them and the socialization we definitely would have felt a bit disappointed..
