At the end, the cooking lesson turns into a feast as you enjoy the dishes you have prepared, along with local wine and traditional music. The lessons will take place in small or large groups, in couples and families, upon agreement, at the times and days you choose.
If you choose to, walk along the river and get to know some of the beauties of the village. Make the most of more than a simple cooking lesson, but a rich experience, as you cut vegetables and fruits from the garden or even make cheese together with the villagers!

Best experience in Naxos! - Getting there is a bit of an adventure, but once you’re there, it’s absolutely amazing.
Includes a farm tour, preparing dinner, history about the region, delicious food and wine, after dinner dancing, and a few hilarious stories.
This was the highlight of our trip to Naxos!

A must do in Naxos! - As a Greek-American, I cannot recommend this experience enough. We had a delightful time and suggest you do not skip this experience in Naxos!
We picked vegetables, prepared our meal, drank wine and even Greek danced. This family’s 5 generations of farming in a tiny Greek village on top of Naxos is not to be missed! Ana and her family are so kind and gracious.
My family of 3 (with an 8-year-old son) loved this afternoon. Plan for 4+ hours and sign up early!

Such a fun class filled... - Such a fun class filled with learning, dancing, cooking and chatting. The farm is beautiful and the family who runs it is so sweet and welcoming. The food we cooked was delicious too.

Highly recommend! - The highlight of our Naxos trip! We loved everything about this. It felt like you were very much part of their family while sitting at the table and preparing food with them. We loved touring their farm, picking fresh herbs and vegetables while learning all about their organic farming techniques. It is a multi generational family farm with some hidden treasures of historic buildings.

Fun cooking class - Very fun and informative. Lovely tour of the gardens with Jack. All the dishes were delicious. And Jack’s stories were hilarious. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be larger signage since we missed the signs!

Fun activity to do in Naxos - Anna was a great instructor. We had a great time gathering vegetables in the garden, preparing a few dishes and enjoying the fun afterwards.

Real Greek experience - Absolutely loved it! It's unique, rustic and very traditional. Not fancy but just perfect. Food was delicious, plentiful and fun to help make and the wine just kept coming. Such a great experience in Naxos enjoyed with our friends!

Authentic Greek Experience - Highly recommend this cooking class! It starts with a tour of their farm and you actually see the vegetables and spices picked fresh that you cook for dinner. Dinner was delicious and the hosts were knowledgeable, very authentic Greek experience!

Fantastic cooking class - We had an amazing time at the cooking class at Basiliko Tavern in Naxos! Anna was incredibly personable and it was really interesting to find out about the history of the farm. Cooking alongside others was fun and interactive. Be prepared to budget more than four hours and also be sure to get directions, as Google Maps led us to a dead end initially. Highly recommend this unique and enjoyable experience!
