10/10 experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We went out with Island Time Charters in Nassau and had one of the best experiences of our entire vacation! Captain Jason and his son Jay were absolutely incredible hosts. We did some spearfishing/lobster fishing and ended up catching three fresh lobsters. Jay was amazing at teaching my husband how to do it, and he was so patient and encouraging. We also had a teen with us who was nervous about the water, and Captain Jason went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable he interacted with her the whole time and made sure she still had fun even without getting in the water. Even those of us who stayed on the boat had a blast just relaxing with Jason he was engaging, funny, and made the whole trip feel special. It was truly such a personal, family-friendly experience. We will definitely be booking with them again, and next time we’re planning to bring our younger kids too. If you’re visiting Nassau and want an unforgettable adventure on the water, I cannot recommend Island Time Charters enough!

The only review you didnt know you needed for snorkleing and fishing out of Nassau! - **CARNIVAL-ROYAL CARIBBEAN-DISNEY-NORWEGIAN MSC**!! Listen up cruisers. If you want the best family operated half day/day charter out of Nassau for inshore fishing and even a little deeper fishing or the the most private snorkeling in the area, this is it! Before we got off the boat Jason had contacted me to let me know where they there located and waiting. It is a short walk in a safe area with no worries there, no taxis, no car rides, just walked to the location and he was there. We boarded and took off slowly so we could talk for a bit about what we wanted to do that day. With a little fishing and a little snorkleing in mind he knew the perfect areas to take us. While Jason Jr drove us out of the harbor, Jason Sr talked with us about the houses, and the historical features that we were passing. As a local he had a wealth of knowledge about the area and the bonus was he was a great tour guide as well. We had a nice little ride over to some pretty discreet locations where there were no other charters or people fishing so we could enjoy the area with out being crowded. They provided fishing gear,bait, snorkeling equipment, cold drinks! Jason Jr even snorkled with us for a while and that was awesome as he stirred up a sting ray for us to see! The boat ride was smooth as the water was a little choppy that day and they were fully aware and cognisant of our departure time for the boat and had us back in plenty of time to not rush. Here are a few tips! 1. Contact Jason as soon as possible after booking. Ask him all the questions. They can provide a fishing charter with deeper water if you want only fishing. 2. They provided us with soda and water that was fine with us. But if you want a few adult beverages (over 21). They may provide that as well. 3. I am sure they would be open to you bringing your own snorkeling equipment but they do provide some. 4. Bring your own towels for the cool ride back if needed. 5. Bring sunscreen (Right Jason!! HAHAHA!!!) 6 . Bring a Go Pro or nderwater camera 7. Bring Snacks unless you work that out with Jason ahead of time We had the best time. I cant wait to get back down there soon and take another charter with them!

Best experience! - Best snorkeling and fishing expedition we’ve been on. I love the low crew to passenger ratio, very personalized experience. Even when rained for ten minutes, it was fabulous. If I ever get back to Nassau I will look this tour up again! Thank you for a grand day!

Fantastic day on the water in Nassau with Capt Jason and Andre - Our family of 7 had an unforgettable 5-hour adventure with Captain Jason and Andre — and we couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. The itinerary was flexible, and we trusted them to guide us based on the conditions and their local knowledge. They made sure we experienced everything we wanted while still making the day feel relaxed and easygoing. We started off at a beach where we got to feed the pigs — a unique and fun experience. Then we moved on to some bottom fishing, where we spotted a nurse shark cruising nearby. “Who wants to swim with the nurse shark?” We all jumped in to snorkel and get a closer look. After that, we moved into shallower waters for a swim and were lucky enough to spot some sea turtles. Next up was spearfishing at a reef, which was the highlight of the day. Jason took the time to teach us the basics and was incredibly patient and encouraging as we gave it a try in a few different areas. We ended the day at a beautiful snorkel spot where a shallow reef suddenly drops into a deeper blue hole — a stunning place to wrap up the trip. If you’re looking for a fun, memorable day on the water in Nassau, we highly recommend booking with Captain Jason. He and Andre were professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish.

Wonderful half day on the boat - My partner and I had a fantastic half day with Jason. We snorkelled with some beautiful fish, and fished in deep ocean. All in all we caught 5 fish between us. Jason kindly filleted a fish and recommended a restaurant to cook it for evening meal. Great memories made. Jason looked after us extremely well and would highly recommend. Great Family Experience! - Captain Jason (and son) were fantastic guides! We had a group of 5 kids and they did a great job making sure all of them had fun! We did a combination of fishing and snorkeling, even made a stop at a beautiful beach so the younger ones could build sandcastles! Both guides were very personable, easy to talk to, and FUN! I have been on many guided tours and this is one I would take over and over again!! 😊

Amazing spear fishing trip in the Bahamas - Jason Jr. & Sr. were amazing. My son and I went on a HALF day spear fishing trip with them and had an amazing time. They both have many years of fishing experience and will cater to your needs on your chosen adventure. Captain was extremely responsive on text message and came through with every promise made. They are willing to teach you the basics of spear fishing and can assist with all levels of skill. You would be missing out if you chose any other option on the islands. We can't wait to return to continue our spear fishing adventures with this crew. Thank you again Wheeler family for such a great experience. I am sure my son will remember this trip for years to come.

Great day at sea - We had a great time. The kids loved fishing and we loved seeing different islands. The captain was so great - he played music and was very informative.

This company stole our money and our time - This company is fraudulent…we showed up to the dock at 1:15 pm for a 1:30 pm snorkel/fishing trip. No one showed up and at 1:45 pm…I called the local representative. He was very rude and dismissive and said the boat was delayed till 3 pm. No one showed up at 3 pm or ever and I sat there with my elderly mother and my 4 year old daughter. It ruined our day…don’t do business with this group
