- This is a 21 years old and up event. Minimum drinking age is 21 years. Valid government issued photo IDs are required to participate on tour.
- You will either be transported by our coach bus or 15 passenger van depending on the size of group
- Tours run rain or shine, snow and sleet, hot and cold. Dress appropriately.
- Please Note: There are no bathrooms on board the bus, please plan accordingly.
- Tours are subject to be shortened, lengthened, or otherwise altered without notice for any reason.

The driver was really... - The driver was really nice. AC could’ve been colder. The driver gets an A+++! I would recommended letting people know the time for the actual tour. For example. We arrived at 2:30 but they said tour started at 3:30. We are before coming but had I know. We had a 1 hour window, I would’ve planned to eat there. Please provide these important details to others going forward. Loved touring the winery. Tour guide Terrell was EXCELLENT.

Smoothest Tennessee Whiskey Period!!! - This is a must do/see if ever in TN!!! The whiskey was top knotch!!! The guides were very personable and professional. Jimmy was a treat and joy!!!

Uncle Nearest Distillery Tour and Tasting - This was hands down the best part of our trip. We stayed in Nashville and got picked up at the meeting spot in front of the Omni hotel in downtown Nashville. Our driver, Melvin, was very knowledgeable and extremely welcoming. The tour was such an eye opener to history we hadn't really heard of..until recently. Even the bartender in town hadn't heard of Uncle Nearest he said until a patron came in and told him the story one day and right now he has one bottle of Nearest Green whiskey behind the bar for him. We did a walking tour around the property which is amazing. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a small umbrella just in case of rain or the strong 🌞. You are outside for a little bit. The whiskey tasting was fun. I never actually attended a real tasting before and it was set up perfectly. We had 4 tastings, water and the guide, Karen, gave us instructions on how to do the tasting properly. There is a giftshop, restuarant and the world's largest bar on the property as well. Stop in and eat, drink and listen to music. At the end of the tour our driver took us around to take pics and dropped us all off at our hotels when we got back to town! Nice touch Melvin and sooooo very much appreciated because we definitely didn't want to walk around with all our goodies from the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. If you are thinking about this tour, do it!!! You get the tour and the tastings then after the tour you can get food and drinks and have a designated driver for the afternoon, what more do you need!!!!! 10 out of 10!

Uncle Nearest Distillery Tour - The Uncle Nearest Distillery tour is great. The grounds are beautiful and the guides plus other staff really give you a good experience. Tennessee Whiskey Tours handled everything, the transportation and setting up the tour. Our driver was very friendly and drove our group on a super comfortable and clean sprinter bus. I would recommend booking your tour with this company.

Bus Tour Questionable - The tour and tasting of Nearest Green Distillery was education and fun experience. The only concern was the “bus tour” ride there and back. The driver was late picking us up and proceeded to tell raunchy stories and talked about his life all the way there and back. My husband and I thought we were being punked at first, but it continued even on the return trip back to Nashville. The transportation there and back was questionable, but it didn’t take away from the experience at the site.

Fun Distillery Experience - The tour was a lot of fun! We loved hearing about the history and the tasting was great. The ride there and back was very smooth! I am glad we were able to do it.

Great Tour - It was a great tour. Our transportation there was clean, comfortable and cool. We were picked up in downtown Nashville. The distillery location is just beautiful. Check in was a breeze and our tour guides were great (Miss Kaye and Brent). I really went on this tour for the history. It was amazing, so was the tasting. It was something to see that I wasn't the only one who was a first time whiskey drinker. It was hilarious. I had purchased a book already, so did my sister. Get it read it. I think our transportation driver was Jamie. He is a great driver, very nice man. I would suggest this tour for historys' sake and if you are a whiskey conissuer. The smoothness of that 1856 is amazing. One of the other tourist said, after the tasting, that she has been drinking the wrong whiskey! That is how smooth it is.

No L or XL t-shirts available - The gift shop has very limited T-shirt sizes, in all styles and colors of t-shirts. There were no L or XL sizes available at all. Staff noted the Black Rodeo was there a few weeks prior and “wiped out” their inventory. However, I’m sure management knew well before Black Rodeo that their patrons would purchase most of the inventory, and the need to assess which sizes should be replenished/replaced thereafter should have been on their radar. Sizes L and XL are typically the most popular sizes. It’s unfortunate customers who visited later were unable to purchase souvenirs and memorabilia. I traveled from Chicago and there were some in our group who came from as far away as California. I was just personally disappointed.
