Ding dong - This place is spectacular. The history is a little sad but a woman making this happen in her time…. Bravo! Ring the doorbell and walk into a beautiful piece of history filled with cool artifacts and priceless art. Our family enjoyed our time here and took some time to walk around the area as well. I would recommend it!

Wonderful step back in time - Really enjoyed seeing the Belmont Mansion and hearing the entire story about the family and the history of Silver war, slavery and even Napoleon ideology . The campus the home sits upon takes up the original 177 acres that the family enjoyed with lush landscape gardens, fountains and even a zoo. The campus is breathtaking and makes the tour even more spectacular.

Visit to Belmont Mansion - We love historic places and the Belmont Mansion didn’t disappoint. Our opening guide was very informative and animated. Another guide was in the main bedroom and gave us more interesting information about the furnishings. We enjoyed the fact that the house was furnished as if the residents still lived there. Very creative. The grounds were also beautiful and we especially enjoyed the rose garden. The only thing that could be added is, given that the house is not visible from Wedgewood Dr, a clear sign as to where the parking is and directions to the front of the mansion.

Pleasant to visit - Very nice old home with plenty of period related furnishings, clothing, dishware, etc. You hear the history of how it came to be with previous owners from a trained guide. You only need an hour for this.
