One of the most delightful activities in Narooma is cycling along the Narooma to Dalmeny cycle track. This 21 km round trip follows the breathtaking coastline on a path constructed and supported by the local community. Starting at the Narooma Wharf, cyclists can observe giant stingrays, pelicans, fish, and occasionally seals, before continuing to the Narooma Bridge, which offers sweeping views across the Wagonga Inlet towards Gulaga Mountain in the distance. This view is truly awe-inspiring.
From this point, continue cycling to the Mill Bay Boardwalk, another community-funded marvel. This beautiful boardwalk is a highlight of Narooma. Enjoy the sound of bell birds and the tranquility as you cycle over the waters of the Wagonga Inlet. Pelicans are often seen drifting with the tide. Observe the incredible birdlife and fish in the crystal-clear waters. Follow the track to the marshlands behind Bar Beach and spot birds among the rushes. Birds such as black swans, herons, ducks, and many other native species are easily visible from the track, making it a paradise for bird watchers.
The cycle track then leads past numerous stunning beaches all the way to Mummaga Lake in Dalmeny. There are viewpoints along the track with signs that inform visitors about the rich Aboriginal history of the coast. At certain times of the year, you can see whales breaching (May to November) or dolphins playing in the waves. On the return journey, take the cycle track to Fosters Bay and enjoy the views over the Wagonga Inlet. Stop at Quarterdeck Restaurant or Inlet Restaurant for a quick refreshment (not included). Explore the town of Narooma, which offers numerous restaurants, shops, and bars. Marvel at the seal colony at the Australian Rock lookout or enjoy the views to Montague Island from the Narooma Golf Course. Cycle to Surf Beach and admire the magnificent Glasshouse Rocks.

The electronic mountain bikes make the ride much easier with pedal-assist technology, allowing you to travel further with less effort, so you can fully appreciate the scenery.
