Maasai Mara National Reserve - In the early morning, the driver/guide will pick up the group in Nairobi and provide a briefing on the safari before departing for Maasai Mara. There will be a stopover at the Great Rift Valley, offering an opportunity to capture photos of the dramatic drop of the Rift Valley, along with the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot. Upon arrival at Mara, guests can settle in and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Mara River - After breakfast, embark early on a full day of game drives across the Mara, visiting the Mara River, renowned for the famous wildebeest migration. This area is home to over 3 million large mammals. The experienced tour guide/driver will lead the search for the iconic Big 5 and other wildlife: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, Warthog, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, and various bird species. A picnic lunch will be served at Mara River while witnessing the renowned migration. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged (20 USD) after the game drive. Maasai warriors are celebrated as the proud nomadic tribe known for their legendary bravery in battles and encounters with wild animals. This visit offers an insightful tour of Maasai culture, with a warm welcome featuring a song and dance presentation, integral to their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Lake Nakuru - Enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive to spot the park’s wildlife in the cool morning and African sunrise, before returning to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Lake Nakuru is a renowned haven for bird watchers with its abundant bird population, most famously the flamingos, which create a stunning deep pink hue around the lake shore. Besides flamingos, over 400 bird species visit the lake. The park also hosts animals such as the Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon, and various other plains game species.
Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
Makalia Falls Viewpoint - After breakfast, embark on another game drive in Lake Nakuru, enjoying views of flamingos, often called the “Pink Lake.” With some luck, small game such as Water Buck, Impala, Rhino, and Buffalo may also be spotted in the garden’s surroundings. After lunch, depart for Nairobi, arriving around 4-5 pm in the late afternoon, depending on traffic conditions. Drop-off will be at any of the most convenient points for the guests.
