Journey from Nairobi to Masai Mara with Evening Game Drive

Masai Mara National Reserve - Embark on a 6-day safari adventure starting from Nairobi. Guests will be picked up from their hotel at 7 am to begin the journey to Masai Mara. There will be a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a photo opportunity, capturing the breathtaking views of the gorges below. Continue the road trip to the hotel in Masai Mara, arriving just in time for a delicious lunch served at 1 pm. Check into the hotel room to refresh and relax until 3 pm, preparing for the evening game drive. Entrance fees at the park are USD 100 per adult non-resident during the low season (Jan-June) and USD 200 during the high season (July-Dec), with children paying USD 50. The rooftop is opened for an excellent view of the Masai Mara wildlife. Keep an eye out for the Big Five, including Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Leopards, and numerous bird species. Return to the hotel by 6:30 pm, ready for dinner at 7 pm. Afterward, enjoy a night bonfire at the hotel to warm up before retiring to bed, ready for the next day’s activities in Masai Mara.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - Begin the day with a hot breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch from the hotel, to be enjoyed later under the flat-topped acacia trees in Masai Mara. After paying the park entry fees, start the second guided game drive in search of the magnificent wildlife and experience the vast sweeping savannah, tropical semi-forest, and the diverse wildlife that Masai Mara hosts. Prepare for the endless drama showcased by this must-visit wilderness. The itinerary also includes witnessing the Great Mara River, home to giant Nile Crocodiles and Hippos basking on the riverbanks. Enjoy a short, guided nature walk by local armed Rangers along the Mara River, offering close views of Hippos and Crocodiles. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight rest.

Lake Nakuru National Park Experience

Lake Nakuru - After a hot breakfast, bid farewell to Masai Mara. Visit a nearby Masai Cultural Village to experience their age-old culture and dance en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. A spokesperson will provide insights into the experience. Support the vulnerable Masai community as per your agreement with them. Arrive at the hotel in Lake Nakuru for a sumptuous lunch served at 1 pm and check in. Take the opportunity to freshen up and rest before the evening game drive. Park fees are USD 60 for adult non-residents and USD 35 for children. Inside the park, look out for the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, and capture photos of White Rhinos, Flamingoes, Pelicans, Lions, Buffaloes, Zebras, and more wildlife. Also, view the Great Lake and Makalia Falls. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

Lake Naivasha Stopover

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast at 9 am, head to Lake Naivasha for the fourth day of the safari at this magnificent lake, the second-largest freshwater lake in Kenya. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake for about an hour, experiencing close encounters with Hippos and a variety of bird species like the majestic African Fish Eagle, Pelicans, Hamerkop, Marabou Storks, Cormorants, and more. Entrance fees for the boat ride are USD 30 per person. Following this, take a guided nature walk on Crescent Island overlooking the lake, offering a rare chance for close-up wildlife photography as they graze peacefully. Entry fees are USD 33 for adults and USD 18 for children. Look out for Masai Giraffes, Zebras, Antelopes, Gazelles, Guinea Fowls, and Warthogs (Pumba). Conclude the wildlife excursion and head to the hotel next to the lake for a late lunch. Enjoy an overnight stay to rest in preparation for the next day’s experience.

Amboseli National Park Safari Experience with Evening Guided Game Drive

Amboseli National Park - After a hot breakfast, proceed to the iconic Amboseli National Park. There will be a washroom stop en route before continuing the journey. Enjoy the scenic landscape and the sight of Masai livestock grazing by the roadside. Arrive at the hotel in time for a hot lunch served around 1 pm. Check into the hotel to freshen up and rest before the evening guided game drive. Entry fees are USD 60 for adult non-residents and USD 35 for children. During the game drive, watch for herds of gigantic Elephants crossing the road in front of the safari vehicle. Enjoy spectacular views of wildlife such as Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes, Lions, Cheetahs, Hippos, Flamingoes, Pelicans, and many bird species, all set against the backdrop of the great Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Return to Nairobi on the Final Day

Nairobi - On the final day of the safari, start with a hot breakfast served by 8 am and take a last opportunity to view the stunning snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro from the hotel. Then, begin the journey back to Nairobi, either to the hotel or directly to the airport to catch a flight, bidding farewell to Kenya.
