Memorable Fishing - Marco Island was our destination to celebrate 10th birthdays with two of our grandchildren. This charter did not disappoint! The kids enjoyed watching Captain Tim collect bait with the net. He knew the best fishing spots and what type of bait works best! There was plenty of catching but we had to release many fish due to size (too big & too small!) and not being in season. We caught snook, redfish, snapper, catfish. Really did have the BIG ONE that got away! We took home enough to have it cooked for dinner and the kids thought that was the BEST! Thank you for the memories!

Great crew and boat - Had a great time. Captain and mates were very nice and very helpful. We caught a good amount of fish. Overall a great time.

Outstanding fishing trip - Outstanding experience overall. Captain Tim really made this fishing trip an unforgettable experience for me and my family (wife and two daughters). We caught a bunch of decent sized fish which Captain Tim filleted for us at the end of the trip. We will definitely do this again.

Awesome 1/2 day of fishing! - Had a fantastic time w/Capt Tim!!! Caught a lemon shark and many other types of fish. Will most certainly go back out with Capt Tim again!

Awesome fishing trip - Captain Tim was amazing !! Extremely knowledgeable of local hot fishing spots, friendly, and patient. Captain Tim also provided a plethora of refreshments. My kids and I caught around 20 fish on our awesome trip.

Cannot wait to do it again! - Captain Tim took my 2 teens and I out this morning. The morning started off with a bang as I threw my cell phone in the ocean on accident! ha! Captain Tim made this one of the most amazing experiences of my life. We had great fishing - snooks, a jew fish, and a red fish. Beautiful weather, lots of teaching and answering all of the teen boys questions with patience. I cannot recommend this charter any more highly and look forward to booking another round when I return to Naples in a few months!

Awesome day fishing! - We really enjoyed Captain Tim. He was very friendly. He ran a little late in the morning due to an unforeseen event but then more than made up for it by keeping us out longer. We didn’t catch a lot of fish but it wasn’t for lack of him trying. We will definitely book a fishing trip with him again. Good value. It was worth the price just to be out on the water for 5 1/2 hours.

Guys trip in 10K Islands - Captain Tim was great! We were impressed with his fishing knowledge, bait catching abilities and putting us all on fish in tough windy conditions. Don't hesitate, just book a trip for you and your kids with Captain Tim!!!! - Pack up the kids, give Mom the morning or afternoon off, and get out on the water with Captain Tim! I took my almost 4 year old out for his first fishing trip and we had a blast. First line in the water resulted in my son catching his first fish. Tim did a great job keeping my son entertained and catching fish for 4 hours, to include his first 3 keepers. If you are wondering if you should take your kids fishing, don't hesitate to go with Captain Tim. Awesome experience all around, and I will absolutely be booking more trips with Southern Gentlemen Fishing.

Great location but disappointing experience with boat and tackle - Location was great, easy access for meeting up with the boat, and close to many fishing spots. Captain seemed knowledgeable about where to go and how to fish for many different species. However, we were disappointed in the overall experience. The captain was late, boat was not cleaned from the previous days trip, engine was sputtering, and one of the reels was faulty making it difficult to cast in tricky situations where we were trying to get up and under mangrove branches. While this boat is great to maneuver through the mangrove channels it is really tight for a group of 4 adults plus the captain, making it awkward and uncomfortable. Once at the fishing spots the captain tried hard to get us on fish and I feel like we would have caught alot if we hadn't been unlucky in our weather day, front came in for the coldest temp on record since 1934.
