Starting at the coast, participants will gain an understanding of Maori celestial navigation knowledge (Matauranga Maori) and culture at the Atea A Rangi celestial compass.
Following this, enjoy a wine-tasting session and a shared cheese platter at the iconic coastal Clearview Winery, featuring a hosted tasting and exclusive behind-the-scenes access.
The journey continues through the stunning Tukituki Valley and up to the summit of the famous Te Mata Peak, with insights into the region’s unique culture, geology, botany, and history.
The experience concludes with another tasting at the family-owned boutique Askerne Winery.
Led by local experts, these small-group tours offer an ideal day out for couples.
