- Napier Art Deco Buildings - The Deco City Discoverer offers a 3-hour tour departing from two locations, depending on the ship’s arrival. The tour travels through Napier City, highlighting all points of interest along the coast, leading to the first stop at Waitangi Regional Park, located on the beach overlooking Hawke Bay.
The journey continues inland through the rural area of Meeanee to the Silky Oak Chocolate Company, nestled among the orchards. The tour proceeds to Taradale, passing the unique Art Deco McDonald’s.
In Ahuriri, the original Port of Napier, there is a photo stop at the stunning Art Deco building of the former National Tobacco Building.
