Wonderful Time Visiting Wineries from a Trolley - We did a wine tour in Sonoma with our tour guide Paul and we had an amazing time. He provided a lot of information about the area, drove us to 3 wineries, told us how much time we had at each and when to meet up with him. We visited Buena Vista, Ty Caton, and Wellington. Each place was very nice and provided a lot of information about their wines. On the trolley Paul provided waters and a place for us to put our wine. There was both outside and inside seating. I would recommend this tour if you want a neat way to visit wineries.

A great time - This is our second time doing this. Obviously I would recommend. It’s a great time, meet some new people and enjoy some amazing wine. To me the last winery is the best, Séamus.

Yes, Please! - The wine trolley is a perfect way to learn more about wine, the wine making process and to taste some beautiful wines. Paul was a gem of a driver and guide. He taught us some history too. The four wineries are unique and each offered new information as we drank and listened. Lunch was delicious and gave us full bellies for the drinking ahead. The rest of our party were strangers, but felt like friends by the time the day was done. When we booked the wine tour, we had no idea what was in store for us. It was an amazing day!!

Great Tour for the Price - For our second tour on our Somoma/Napa trip, we traveled to the town of Sonoma to take the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley. This was one of the more "touristy" tours we took, but it turned out to be the best. The trolley is a reproduction of a 1906 San Francisco trolley car, mounted on a bus chassis. It accommodates up to 25 people, but we only had 14 on this trip. Our guide, E. Paul, was very friendly, as well as quite knowledgeable about Sonoma history in general, and the wine industry in particular.. He's also a great storyteller. Our first two stops, Ravenswood and Buena Vista, were actually full tours of the grounds, as opposed to just tasting stops. They were also really good examples of historic and modern wine production on the Carneros side of Sonoma. The tour also provided lunch (from the Girl & the Fig), which we ate at Buena Vista. It was excellent. After lunch, we went to the Sonoma Valley side of Sonoma, to Valley of the Moon Winery (Madrone), and finishing up at Mayo Family Winery in Glen Ellen. Again, there was a good contrast among the wineries chosen. E Paul took very good care of everyone on the tour, and he made sure it was a good experience. Going into the tour, , I wasn't expecting a lot considering the price and the trolley aspect of the tour, but the Sonoma Wine Trolley exceeded my expectations. Although it may be a different experience on a busier day, this was our best tour experience, and a great value for the price.

No Trolley - There was not a trolley. I was told an email had been sent but i didn’t get it. The first winery was beautiful, after that they went downhill and the last one was basically a bar. Our driver Paul was wonderful though
