Beautiful day! - The whole day was great. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know the other travelers on the tour. Our tour guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all the wineries and areas we traveled through. Loved the feeling of a small group and local wine tour. We would highly recommend.

Delightful Day - My sister and I had a wonderful experience on this tour! We met and became fast friends with our tour-mates and had so much fun! The wineries we visited were gorgeous, hospitable, snd offered delicious wines. Rob was our delightful guide and driver who took excellent care of all of us. Would definitely recommend and do this again!!

Fun way to see several wineries - Very nice tour and reasonably priced. We did 3 wineries which was perfect pace for the day. Nice variety of wineries and wine! Casey was a good driver - very friendly.

Wonderful wine - Solo traveler this time after a 10 year gap. Guide was excellent and the group rapidly warmed up after the first wine stop. Vineyards were small and perfectly form with warm welcomes, excellent knowledge and wonderful wine !

Fantastic wine tour - We visited three wineries, it was a beautiful day, one of the best was Notre view, that was by far my favorite winery and what a view. We enjoyed the entire six hours immensely. I would recommend it to anybody.

Amazing tour of North Sonoma! - My wife and I came to Napa for a long weekend to have fun before I began a business trip and were so glad to find Platypus Tours. We previously had taken their Napa Valley winery tour and loved it so wanted to use them again to see Sonoma. We didn’t want to rent a car so finding a tour that would pick us up at the Napa hotel and drive us for the day was exactly what we were looking for since Sonoma isn’t real close by. We were met promptly at 0945 at our hotel (Springhill Suites) by our guide driving a fair-sized bus. Our guide was Army and he was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable about wine and the region but also kept us all laughing throughout the day with his sense of humor. We drove around and picked up several other groups and then got started. I think we were scheduled to see 3 wineries but Army threw in a fourth as well so we went to: Mayo, Deerfield Ranch, Wellington and lastly Ty Caton. All of these locations were very different from one another, but the highlights for us was the amazing Zinfandel Port at Mayo, the huge wine caves at Deerfield Ranch and the quality of the wine at Ty Caton. While we were at Deerfield Ranch for our second stop we had prepackaged lunches that Army brought in from the bus and had a great wine tasting and lunch in the caves. Army did a great job driving, talking to us about the region as well as setting up all the tastings. Our hosts at the wineries were all excellent and really tried to cater to what we liked and didn’t like. The drive back from Sonoma to Napa was about an hour and Army stopped so we could buy snacks and took great care of us. At the end of the day, he offered to either drop us off downtown Napa or take us to the door of our hotel which was a really nice touch. Everything about the day was great from logistics, lunch and our guide Army. There was a wifi issue that resulted in a few extra charges to my credit card, but Platypus rectified it the next day and called me to explain the overcharge and subsequent refund quickly. This was the second Platypus tour we took that week and really enjoyed both. Highly recommend this tour group!

BEST $ I’ve spent in a long time - We had a great time and so thankful we booked this tour. Pick-up and drop-off are just a start. We got so many “extras” at the hand-picked amazing wineries we visited thanks to Platypus. We toured some beautiful properties, learned a lot about wine making and tasting, and it was a perfect day! Felt like a VIP at every stop. Will book again and again with Platypus. They keep a list of wineries you have visited and won’t take you to the same ones on your next visit. Made great friends with the other folks on the tour. I’ve booked a lot of things on Viator. This was my favorite of all!
