Amazing experience (changed how I see wine) - Beautiful experience! The wine was delicious (we had 12 samples in total, each glass had maybe 1/3 of a cup of wine), the trolley was fun (surprisingly smooth!), the tour guide was great (I didn't catch his name but he's an older white guy with long white hair), and the whole experience was lovely. We were fed pizza, salad, and gelato for lunch which was delicious. However, just a warning-- I believe all 3 wine tastings COMBINED were $150 or so per person. Quite expensive. The first place didn't waive the fee if you bought wine, the second place waived it if you bought 2 bottles, and the third place waived it if you bought $200 worth of wine. All in all you can expect to spend, at minimum, $300 PER PERSON on this trip (if you tip the driver). However, I think it's still worth it! I'm not that much of a wine guy but I thought it was all delicious. HIGHLY recommend this experience!!

So Much Fun! - We took the Napa Valley Castle Trolley Wine Tour to celebrate a girl's weekend getaway and birthdays. Michael our tour guide was the best! Fun, friendly and went above and beyond. Thank you Michael for such a fun experience and making it memorable for the birthday girls! We had a blast and recommend again and again!

Great time aboard the trolley - Not a wine drinker, but visiting the area I figured this was a good way to try some of the local varieties. The driver was very nice and well informed on the local history and each winery. The lunch was good, and had probably a bit too many sips but meet some great people in the group. The ratings couldn't have been more different. The castle was very refined and what I would've expected them all to be. Then the second was like a acid trip and rave all rolled into a winery. Last was a very small place, but fun and really informed us of what goes on behind the scenes! We were lucky, the weather was great, and the trolley didn't break down. I would certainly recommend it to a first time visitor. Enjoy it!

Trolley wine tour on unreliable trolly - great fun but costs should be discussed before departure , only one castle on tour which was amazing but expensive wine tasting, I would recommend the castle tour and tasting at the next stop, wine was very good here , Raymond winery charged if you had a wine tasting or not? The 30 year old trolley broke down after the last stop, stranded along the road for an hour, had to call an uber to pick us up! Had to make our next connection!

Great experience, beautiful scenery, but costly day trip - Loved the trolley ride, driver, lunch, and variety of wineries. Overall it was fun & each brought you a different experience. There were 2 things I thought could have been explained better upfront: 1) the meeting location in the parking lot…there should be some type of a sign placed so people know they’re in the right spot; 2) either provide an average cost for each winery per person or include a link to their website site. It was way more expensive than I thought. The castle charged you upon entering. The second stop charged you at the end, so I initially was under the impression it was included in the initial price.

Overpriced - This is a very expensive way to sample some wine. Paying an additional $50 per person per tasting at each vineyard means that you’re paying close to $300.
