Highlight in Tanzania! - I had an amazing experience on the Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Tour. Bazil, the guide, was outstanding—professional, friendly, and made me feel completely safe, even as a solo traveler. The hike to the waterfall was breathtaking, with stunning views and just the right amount of challenge. The highlight of the day was the coffee-making session with Edwin. He walked us through the entire process, from roasting the beans to brewing, and made it such an engaging and fun experience. You could feel his passion for coffee, and the end result was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The entire tour was well-organized and felt authentic from start to finish. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, culture, and great company. Thanks again to Bazil and Edwin for making the day unforgettable!

Nice day tour with very fair price - We booked the 3 sights tour (waterfall + coffee + hot springs) and it was a very nice day. Our guide changed the order so that we started at the hot springs and were able to be there almost on our own. Then we drove to the coffee plantation, where we had lunch with Edwin and his family and friends. It was fun and the food was delicious. Last, we hiked to the waterfall. The way was very muddy and slippery, and our shoes and trousers got very very dirty, but the sight of the waterfall was worth it. Overall a nice experience for a fair price.

Great locally owned tour company - This tour was a true highlight of my trip! The visit to Materuni Waterfalls and Chemka Hot Springs was breathtaking, but the warm hospitality from the Chagga community made it unforgettable. We were welcomed like family and treated to delicious local food. I highly recommend this tour—it’s a great way to explore the beauty of the region while supporting a local company making a real impact.

Successful excursion - We had a lovely day. The hot springs had pleasant water and it was very clean. The coffee tour was fun and interesting. We were a little unlucky with the weather so the way to the waterfall was very muddy and slippery. Luckily, you could borrow some rubber boots and sticks for running on site for a small extra charge. Lunch was served at a nice family's home at the coffee farmers'. You just have to bear in mind that you spend a relatively long time in the car as Materuni and the hot springs are a good deal apart. The guide Bazil was very nice.

A Moshi must do fabulous day out - Fantastic, fun and informative day trip. William was the guide and Raphael the driver and both were professional and excellent. William's care, helpfulness and guiding made for this to be a much better than expected experience. The coffee tour was a highlight of the day and every family member's contribution made this a wonderful event - a big thank you to everyone. The lunch was deliciously tasty, generous and authentic. William's connection to the area shone through his expert guiding skills. Everything about the day was superb and faultless. I would recommend this trip without hesitation.

Great day in Kilimanjaro and its surroundings - My guide Shukara was from the Chaga tribe who live on the slopes of Kilmajanjaro. Therefore I was able to understand more about these interesting people, and how they lived in this beautiful environment. The day was well managed, with a visit to Chemka hot springs for a swim (1 hour from Moshi), then the Materuni waterfall hike, with lunch. I also saw how they harvest, roast and produce the coffee beans. There is around 4 hours driving involved on this trip, which was well worth it.
