Ho Chi Minh City - Nam Cat Tien National Park
Cat Tien Park - At 8:00 AM, a tour guide and private car will pick up guests from their hotel to travel to Nam Cat Tien National Park, home to a former volcanic crater known as Lava Tubes. Crossing the Dong Nai River to enter Cat Tien National Park allows visitors to begin their wildlife adventure. Arrival at Nam Cat Tien National Park is around 12:00 PM. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before checking in. In the afternoon, visitors will explore: Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (Bang Lang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus Tectorius (Trung quan). Later, guests will return to the center for dinner. At approximately 7:00 PM, a Jeep will transport guests to Ta Lai for nighttime wildlife viewing.
Cat Tien National Park - Nam Cat Tien National Park is situated in the transition zone between Vietnam’s Truong Son Mountain Range (the highlands) and the Mekong Delta. Due to its unique location and the presence of five different forest types within the park, Cat Tien supports a remarkable diversity of plants and animals. The park is home to many endemic species of plants and animals, meaning they are found only here, and serves as a sanctuary for species that were once widespread but now find refuge in this protected area.
Nam Cat Tien National Park - Ho Chi Minh City
Crocodile Lake - After breakfast, guests will depart for Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake) by Jeep (10 km) and then walk 5 km to the Crocodile Lake station to view the crocodile swamp. Bau Sau is a stunning lake surrounded by jungle and home to numerous crocodiles. Guests will board a boat and paddle around the lake for an hour, with opportunities to see birds, crocodiles, and wild lotus before returning to the park center. After lunch and check-out, guests will take a ferry across the river and head back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving around 6:00 PM.
