For a wine tasting, we will head to our Family Winery - Nikoladze WineHouse, located a 30-minute drive from Kutaisi. We will sample 3 white wines, 1 red wine, and 2 types of Chacha (local vodka): one refined and another pure, distilled from grapes.

We will introduce winemaking technology, the process of wine fermentation, and the various tools used in producing the sacred drink of Georgians. As a snack, different kinds of cheese with Georgian bread or homemade khachapuri will be offered.

From a very young age, I learned to use primitive tools for cleaning qvevri, grape pressing, and wine fermentation. Upon reaching my forties, I realized it was time to return to where it all began. And so, I installed my first Qvevri.”
