He explained a lot about life in Kenya as we drove and the visit to the island was one of those one in a lifetime pinch me moments. Tim was also kind enough to stop at a supermarket so I could buy a phone charger as mine had stopped working. Today was a dream come true and a must for any visitors to the area!

Why You Should Ask for Mwose at SafariPort.com - My friend and I took a day trip to Lake Naivasha with our tour guide, Mwose, and it was an unforgettable experience. On the way to the lake, he made several stops, giving my friend and me the opportunity to see locally made items while providing the history and significance of different areas we passed by along the way. We saw lush greenery. Mwose also arranged lunch and provided us with great meal options, including asking us what our palate felt like on that day. When we arrived at the area where we got on the canoe-style boat, the trip truly came to life. We saw a wide variety of bird species and even hippos in the lake a bit scary however, our tour guide and the captain made us feel at ease. Arriving on the island felt like stepping into paradise: giraffes grazing freely, along with monkeys, ostriches, zebras, and many other animals. What stood out most was Mwose himself. A Crescent Island day is amazing and must see. - What an amazing experience!! Another must do without having to travel very far away. Our Tour guide was Mwose and our driver was Chris-they were a great duo team! Mwose is full of knowledge and he makes the information exciting to listen to. One would never know the amazing history of Kenya from an inside source without a great guide like Mwose. The boat ride to the island and back was awesome and our guide and boat driver were very considerate to keep the boat moving slowly to above us getting wet; it was a bit windy in the way to the island. Right at the start we saw zebras so close and wow!! I was amazed because it was my first time seeing a live zebra in its habitat. Then there were the Giraffes, gazelles, hippos, ostrich, and wilderbeasts. There is also a restaurant on the island you can eat before you head back to the boat.

A memorable trip - The views weee amazing- its unique to walk in nature with animals free and out in the open. Obed was a great guide— knowledgeable, informative and a great companion on a journey

Great guide - Mwose was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. We had a lovely time on crescent island and the lunch (whole grilled tilapia for me) was delicious!

I enjoyed learning about the wild life on and around the island. It was incredible to be so close to these animals and observe - My tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made everything so easy and was patient as i took 1000 pictures. He was also a great driver and I slept well on the way back. Lol. I appreciate how the tour was set up. The time on the water was as enjoyable as the time on the island. I would highly recommend this excursion.

So fun! - What a fun day trip! Super convenient to do it from Nairobi. The drive was lovely, very scenic, and the boat tour of the lake was also nice. The highlight was the island itself. Moses was a great tour guide

Get to take photos close... - Get to take photos close to the animals, our guide Moses from safari port is knowledgeable about the animals, speak good English, making the walking Safari a good experience on the Crescent island for us.

Fun Beauiful Island - Beautiful Island. So much fun walking with the animals especially the Giraffes and Eagles. Our tour guide was awesome.
