- Hell’s Gate National Park - 7am - Depart Nairobi and start of drive to Naivasha, brief stop over at the Great rift valley view point.\n\nArrive at the gate of hells gate at around 9:30am. Start of the biking tour at hells gate 8 kilometres to the gorge with animals on the way.\n\n11am - Visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk on the side. This will take 1 hour.\n\n1pm - Finish the tours and bring the bikes back 8 kilometres to the gate.\n- Lake Naivasha - Take an optional 1 hour boat ride in the lake for bird watching and hippo viewing.\n\nHere at the lake there is also a restaraunt where you can have lunch.\n\nEnd of activities at around 4 pm and drive back to Nairobi.

Budget tour to Hell's Gate National Park an Naivasha Lake - The tour was fantastic. Especially considering our small budget we have seen so many things. We had activities all day long, starting our bike trip and a little hike in Hells Gate National park ( saw lot off wild animals like giraffes, zebra's, all kind of monkeys which I never seen before 😃 and etc. on second part of the day we went to Naivasha Lake which was very interesting, we had boat trip and opportunity so see Hippo's an all kind of birds there , after all we had nice dinner with the locals.
All these time our guides was very informative friendly an very patient with us. They answered to all of our questions, provided so many interesting information about the areas and not only. Big thanks to all of the guys and Greetings from Lithuania!
I definitely recommend this tour!

Best daytrip in Nairobi - Hell'Gate is a must to do!
Our guide, David, makes it a perfect day.
To cycle between the wildlife is a unique experience!

Cycling in Hell's Gate National Park and going on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha - We had a very good time with Joash. The trip to Naivasha was just how we imagined it to be :)

A day of beauty and wonder - My trip to Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate was the highlight of my time in Nairobi!
Joash, our guide, is amiable and very knowledgeable. He connected us with the most incredible guide at Lake Naivasha, Ian who made the experience more than magical with his knowledge and care. Lake Naivasha’s beauty and the various species that abound feels otherworldly.
Our trip to Hell’s Gate was just as great. Our guide there Senna, made the experience outstanding. His love of the park is infectious!
This is an incredible day that I highly recommend.

Perfect day trip - Great day tour! The bike ride is very easy, super flat and just 16km total. There's also a quick hike in the gorge which was really nice. Our driver Jane Kale was excellent, she made us feel welcome and was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this tour.

Really great - Great experience. My guide David was very knowledgable, a very good driver and very kind and polite.
We saw lots of animals during the bike ride in Hell's Gate and the boat trip was very pleasant and lots of birds to see and also land animals while sailing along Crescent Island.

One day- many animals - We were in Kenya for a short time before heading over to Tanzania and decided to book this day trip. It was a great way to see many animals, and Jane Kale, our driver was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this trip if you want a day full of activity and animals.

Family of 5 Adventure - We had a fantastic time on the bike tour! It was great to leave early in the morning to beat the traffic, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Once we arrived, we picked our bikes and rode about 8 km through the reserve. The safari ride was amazing – we saw giraffes, zebras, wild pigs, gazelles, and a bunch of other animals. We walked through a stunning gorge and were treated to a little waterfall.
The only downside was the lunch spot, which was pretty disappointing – I'd rate it a 2 out of 10. If I could suggest an improvement, it would be to change the lunch location. The bike seats could use a bit more foam for extra comfort during the ride too (or bring your own gel cover from Amazon before your trip!)
Our guide, Jafar, was awesome – very nice, laid-back, and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Big recommendation for Naivasha day tour with Jaffer and David - We loved our day trip with Jaffer and David!
The two of them were really fun to hang around with and went above and beyond to make our tour memorable.
After several days of Safari, sitting in a car all day, I particularly enjoyed riding a bike and hiking through Hell’s gate national park.
