- Limuru - Limuru, Kenya, is one of the tea-growing areas in Kenya. This is where the Riara tea farm is located. Travelers will arrive at the farm and be welcomed by the farm manager, whereby they will be taken on a complete tea farm tour and also have lunch and a tea tasting ceremony. Travelers will also be presented with an opportunity to purchase tea (optional) before leaving the tea farm.

Embark on a visit to a privately owned tea farm in Kenya, starting from Nairobi. Guests will be picked up from their hotel and taken on a brief drive to the picturesque Highlands of Limuru, a renowned tea-growing region. Upon arrival at the tea farm, visitors will be warmly greeted with a cup of tea and introduced to the charming family who owns the 70-acre Riara tea farm. The family will share the fascinating history of the farm, from its colonial roots to its present-day operations. Guests will also enjoy a guided walking tour of the farm, where the farm manager will explain the tea cultivation and harvesting process. A delightful lunch featuring fresh, organic food will be served later on.
