Very interesting... - Very interesting experience. We spent 2-3 hours visiting the place. The tour guide was a teacher from a local school, and the revenue goes to the school.

Top 3 things to do in Nairobi - Our Kibera tour with Rally was incredible! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about his community. We learned so much about the history, daily life, and inspiring projects in Kibera. Rally made us feel welcome and safe the entire time. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Nairobi! I requested a barbershop stop for my husband and he made it happen took us to the best! He also took amazing photos of us and we met so many people. I highly recommend and I do think it’s one of the things to do hands down! I’m so sad we didn’t get a picture with Rally 😢 my only complaint. We forgot to get one. Thank you Rally can’t wait to see you again.

A unique experience! - We had a unique and eye-opening tour with Rally around Kibera. Our guide, a humble and passionate entrepreneur, founded a free school for local children. It was deeply moving to see one side of life in Africa — a place where, despite challenges, people live with resilience and bright smiles in a collaborative community.

Good life lessons - We finished the tour with Rally a few hours ago. We were impressed by the kindness of the people and especially by the hospitality, despite their precarious living conditions. Rally was fantastic. He was born and raised in Kibera. Now he teaches school and tries to change things as much as he can, together with his brother. Kibera teaches us so much; it was a good life lesson for us. I recommend everyone to visit.

Important experience - We took this tour with our two teenage daughters and we all very much appreciated the experience with Rally guiding us around Kibera. We learnt a lot about this collaborative community and it was also a really good way to finish our 5 week trip through Africa as we were able to donate some currency and other items to the school and some women’s initiatives in the slum. Thank you Rally for all you do for your community.

- Wow! We had an unforgettable slum tour in Nairobi with Rally as our guide. The experience was incredibly informative, eye-opening, and deeply moving. Rally was knowledgeable and respectful, giving us real insight into life in the community. What touched us most was seeing so many smiling children and hopeful adults, full of joy and determination despite the lack of material wealth that we in the Western world often take for granted. The contrast was powerful, and the humanity we witnessed was inspiring. We were a group of five – two adults and three children aged 8, 15, and 17 – and all of us came away with new perspectives. This was not just a tour, but an important life experience. Highly recommended for both adults and children! One quote we saw on the wall of the school where Rally teaches summed it all up perfectly: “The world needs less me and more we.” It’s not just a beautiful thought – it’s a powerful reminder of what really matters.

Had a great time - The tour was a lot of fun, saw some really cool views and really enjoyed learning about the history of the slum and the way their informal government operates. For the price they offer, it’s an amazing deal.

An eye opening insight into slum life - well worth a visit! - We had a great experience with Rally on this tour. He took us through the Kibera slum where he grew up and now teaches at the Agape hope school. This tour was a real eye opener for us and showed us how real people live, work and go to school in the slum. They have nothing but still have smiles on their faces. Rally is an inspiration, providing food for the children he teaches as well as providing sanitary products for the girls at the school so the children can learn without worries on their mind. He also took us into the home of one of the families and showed us the conditions they live in and how little they have. We brought some second hand clothes and toys to give and they were very appreciative. I would recommend this if possible if you are going on the tour. It would have been nice to have some sweets for the children also. Our tour took around 2 hours but would have been a little longer as we needed to finish earlier. I would advise good shoes with grip as you will doing a lot of walking. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Rally, you are a true inspiration.
