Pure Perfection as I Shopped in Nairobi (Thanks, Nimoh) - I spent my first day in Nairobi with Nimoh and she was the most graious and amazing host! We started the day with a brief tour of the city, we then tasted some authentic Swahili street snacks. Next, we ventured to the textile store where I saw the most amazing Ankara fabrics. There were over 100 fabric stalls and it was SO hard to choose. Nimoh assisted me with negotiating prices and was VERY patient as I roamed around all three floors to find the best prints. I bought so much fabric and can't wait to create some beautiful things when I return home. Nimoh also guided me to other shops in the area. I appreciate her asking me "how authentic" I wanted my experience to be. Upon responding that I wanted the "real deal," we rode the bus around the city. The experience was so unique as buses in the US don't have music, videos, and flashing lights. It felt like a party. Nimoh provides quick response times and is open to customizing your experience if your schedule permits. If you were wondering about booking this experience, no need to wonder. Just do it!
