• Nairobi National Museum - The tour starts by picking you up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, then proceeds to the Nairobi Museum, the most popular gallery in the country. Located about five minutes by road from the city center, it offers a comprehensive overview of the country in one venue. The collections here are divided into four themes: culture, nature, history, and contemporary art. Each section is filled with fascinating exhibits and detailed information. The nature section features a collection of birds and animals native to Kenya, including large stuffed mammals like an elephant and a giraffe. The history section takes you on a journey back to prehistoric times, showcasing archaeological finds by Louis Leakey, including fossils of early humans and other creatures that highlight Kenya as the Cradle of Mankind. These exhibits come from various parts of the country, such as Magadi and Turkana, and are housed in the Early Man gallery. After the tour, you will be returned to the airport to catch your flight back home.
