A stunning trip - We had a stunning 3 day group tour. It was fantastic and thrilled to see all the big 5. From our contact with Claire to our guide Francis, they were amazing. We were on budget and we loved the whole experience.

Amazing experience! - Still not over what a wonderful experience this trip was! Our host, Claire, was incredibly helpful and checked in on us during our stay at the camp. Our tour guide, Joseph, was amazing! So experienced and knowledgeable. He got us up close and personal with the wildlife, and we were able to take some incredible photos. I’m also so grateful to all the staff at the camp, everyone was welcoming and accommodating. I’ve already recommended this experience to friends!

A safari worth every penny and effort - If you are traveling solo, then this a highly recommended safari. From booking, to payment to communication for pickup and updates, everything was very well organised and managed by Claire. The safari guide Charles was not only a seasoned driver but a very knowledgeable one. He provided in-depth information regarding the wild. His expertise was timely and invaluable. Safety was always given prominence while maintaining time. All in all, this was a wholesome package for anyone wanting to experience the finest of Kenya.

Great safari experience, definitely worth it! - We enjoyed this safari! Everything was very well arranged for us, Claire was very responsive. First of all the transport from Lake Naivasha to a pickup point, we did not board in Nairobi. Then a long drive to Masai Mara, with a pee break in safe places if necessary. Arriving there at 15.15 we got a late but tasty and hot lunch and then we visited the NP until 19.00. Super! Our guide took all the time to look around and look for different animals. Seen a lot already!
We slept in a real safari tent, fat fine! But earplugs, because from 5-7 and from 19-22 the generator is running!
Very friendly staff in the camp and also basic but good food.
The 2nd day we were in the NP all day. Very special! Lunch was well catered for, and we were particularly pleased with the personality of our driver/guide. He was very friendly and quiet and he answered all our questions when we had them. He stopped if we saw anything before he did. A very nice person!
The 3rd day we visited the Masai village. We also found that beautiful to experience. Not too touristy, and got a nice picture of how these people live.
The journey back to Nairobi went well again. We felt very safe in this 4x4.
All in all a very nice experience!

Awesome and perfectly organised tour - I loved every minute of the tour. It was perfectly organised and the density of wildlife and the scenery at Masai Mara is unbelievable. Our driver was very knowledgeable and skilled and got us close to every animal we wanted to see and more. Highly recommended!

Masai Mara was awesome with Jossec Tours - To start with, I must thank Claire for being so responsive, supportive and prompt with replying our questions and helping with bookings. She reassured our tour would be great and it was more than that. She also upgraded our vehicle to a 4X4 and was so thoughtful to put a baby seat in the car for my 2 year old daughter. Had a lovely experience handling the bookings. She came down to meet us personally at the hotel, which I think was a kind and humble gesture to put a face to the name we had texted so much.
Also our tour guide Uncle Ben, He was cooperative, always obliged to our requests, ensured we got out to use washrooms, stretched our legs and he drove like a charm. He also took note of the baby on board and his actions showed he genuinely cared. His experience was unmatchable and he ensured we saw all the big 5 plus the rest of the animals. He was funny and focussed and could spot the animals with ease. Strongly recommended to go with him.
The overall experience of the Masai Mara game drive was so good and fulfilling.Lake Nakuru had plenty of birds and animals. At the end of the tour, we were very content with the entire arrangement and are thankful to Jossec Tours for making our first Safari a success. Thank you:)

Horrible experience with Jossec - Don’t be misled by the paid reviews. Jossecs Travels managed by Claire has been the worst travel experience for me and my husband. From start to finish, it was a chain of careless mistakes, zero accountability, and endless frustration.
Right from the booking stage, there was a complete lack of follow-up . Our hotel bookings weren’t even confirmed which made us change our date of leisure stay. Due to this error from their end we were forced to change camps thrice instead of just moving it once on the last day . On our first day, because of Claire’s negligence, our travel plans were a mess. The driver had no idea where we were supposed to stay. We were first dropped at a decent-looking camp, only to be told it was the wrong one. Then we were moved to another camp with broken tent zippers and dirty facilities. We were willing to make minor adjustments, but the constant mismanagement continued as we were informed that there is no lunch and have to go the other camp just for lunch with only 15 minutes to freshen up and to eat . We had to hurry as we had an evening game drive .
Claire kept assuring us she was “working with the camp people to fix the issue” but did nothing. She even lied about moving us to a different camp, which we found out hadn’t been arranged only after a grueling 12-hour game drive and laughed upon on call with the driver . She conveniently denied saying “did I send you a message regarding this ?” Word of caution- get everything in writing from these people.
On the third day, our itinerary included a game drive at Lake Nakuru with a stay at Sopa Lodge. First, Jossecs Safari claimed it was a “typo” in the itinerary, after a long argument, Claire admitted she hadn’t booked the lodge at all which was a mistake from her end. As a result, we missed our evening game drive and wasted an entire day at the hotel. No compensation, no accountability, not even an apology. Claire conveniently ghosted us .
To make matters worse, the driver also seemed complicit, accommodating guests as per his convenience and cutting short full-day game drives and lots of follow ups regarding the itinerary and the plans . At time he was even confused due to lack of proper instructions from Claire which made his day a mess too.
This was a nightmare of a trip, and the only reason we didn’t let it ruin our holiday was that it happened toward the end of our journey. Had this been at the start, our entire trip would have been ruined.
Worst tour company ever. Beware of scams, double‑check your itinerary, confirm every single booking specially the accommodations and get everything in writing to avoid last‑minute disasters they might use to rob you of your money
