Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Upon arrival at Nairobi Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our expert safari guides. Following a brief orientation, the journey to the magnificent Maasai Mara Reserve begins. The drive takes us through the stunning Great Rift Valley escarpments, offering breathtaking views. Along the way, travelers will see dormant volcanoes such as Mt. Longonot, Suswa, and Mt. Margaret, as well as local Kenyans, including Maasai farmers, going about their daily lives. Arrival at the Legends Mara Camp is perfectly timed for lunch. In the afternoon, a game drive is planned during the cooler hours. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s premier wildlife sanctuary, renowned for its exceptional beauty. It is the ideal location to witness the Big Five and countless herbivores. The diverse vegetation supports a wide range of animal species. From July to September, the reserve hosts millions of migrating animals seeking better grazing, creating a spectacular wildlife event often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. For those interested, an optional hot air balloon safari offers a unique aerial perspective of the plains.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Spend the day exploring the vast savannah plains in search of black-maned lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and leopards. With some luck, visitors may witness a thrilling hunt. The presence of numerous vultures, known as the “Mr. Clean” of the plains, often indicates a recent kill. A night under canvas offers a memorable experience, with the sounds of African drums and the night echoing across the expansive Mara plains. Return to camp for an overnight stay. (FB)

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Today marks the farewell to the vast Masai plains as the journey back to the city begins. The drive through the Great Rift Valley includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrival in Nairobi is expected in the late afternoon, with guests being dropped off at their next destination.
