Discover a unique side of Nairobi with this half-day guided tour of the Kibera slums. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or residence and drive along Ngong Road, passing by Uchumi supermarket.

First, visit the Soweto village homestead, then head to the Curio Workshop where you’ll see how Kibera residents creatively craft ornaments from animal bones. The tour continues with visits to nursery schools and a stop to observe a local water vendor.

You’ll also pass by Nairobi National Park, home to various wildlife species such as lions, where you can also enjoy game drives.

Feel free to visit one of the Kibera houses and ask questions about daily life in the area. You’ll also have the opportunity to see a biogas plant that uses human waste to produce biogas for cooking and lighting, benefiting around 200 households once fully operational.

After the tour, you’ll be escorted back to your car and returned to your hotel or residence in Nairobi.
