Highlights
- Mount Kenya - Begin with a 6:00am pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and drive southeast to NARUMORU town. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, including at least one stop for a washroom break. Continue driving towards the NARUMORU gate, which is 18km from NARUMORU town. Sign in at the NARUMORU gate at an altitude of 2400m, then drive further to the Met Station at 3095m. From there, start a 3-hour hike up to 3800m.
The Naro Moru Route is the most popular path to Mount Kenya. It is the steepest and fastest way up the mountain, ascending from the west. The route is particularly scenic and offers some of the best views of Batian (5199m) and Nelion (5099m). After the hike, descend back to the Met Station and transfer back to Nairobi, arriving between 5:00 and 6:00pm.

Pick up will be at the city market as indicated above for clients who do but need pick up from there place. Upon arrival they can check out Naivas hotel which is just opposite the city market entrance. We will be happy to pick them there.
