Hell’s Gate National Park - Located south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, northwest of Nairobi, Hell’s Gate National Park is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake. Established in 1984, it is the only park where you can bike while observing wildlife. Bikes are provided, and arrangements can be made for a walk down the gorges. If biking isn’t an option, a car game drive is available to see the many sights.
Rift Valley Province - Originally named the ‘Great Rift Valley’ by British Explorer John Walter Gregory, this geographic stretch extends 6,000 km across the Middle East and Africa from Jordan to Mozambique. The valley features diverse topography with scarps, volcanoes, lakes, ancient granitic hills, flat desert landscapes, and coral reefs and islets. The breathtaking view as you approach from Nairobi, Kenya, is truly remarkable. The ground seems to vanish beneath you, extending thousands of kilometers in either direction. A stop at the viewpoint offers a chance to learn more and take photos.
Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru - Depart in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park to see the rare black rhino, an endangered species, one of the Big Five game animals. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Full-Day Game Drive in Mara
Mara River - Experience a full-day game drive to the Mara River, the site of the great migration. Cover as much of the park as possible. The Masai Mara boasts a high concentration of wildlife, with sightings of four of the Big Five almost guaranteed (though rhinos are harder to spot). It’s also one of the best reserves for seeing the three big cats: leopard, lion, and cheetah. The BBC TV show Big Cat Diaries is filmed here. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, followed by an evening visit to a Maasai village to experience their culture. Dinner and an optional campfire conclude the day.

Volcanic craters provide stunning backdrops to some of Africa’s most fertile and rich grazing grounds. After the crater tour, depart to spend the evening and night in the Karatu area at a hotel.
