Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - Depart from Nairobi at 7 am after enjoying a delightful breakfast and journey south across the Athi Plains, the land of the Masai, towards Amboseli. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of free-roaming African elephants, as well as vast groups of wildebeests and a variety of other wildlife including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, and antelopes, all set against the stunning backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. Arrival is expected by early midday, allowing time to freshen up, followed by lunch and a brief rest. Later, embark on an evening game drive across the Amboseli plains at 4:00 PM.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Nairobi - Begin the day with an early morning game drive, as this is one of the best times to view Mt. Kilimanjaro. The early morning light transforms the mountain into a dark shade of purple, with its snow taking on an ethereal pink hue. The sight of the mountain towering over herds of elephants crossing the Amboseli plains is a classic African scene. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then pack your bags and head back to Nairobi.
