Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Rift Valley Province - At 8 am, guests will be picked up from their hotel in the city center or Westland area to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the valley floor.
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After checking in and enjoying a meal, guests will depart at 4:00 pm for an evening game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is an excellent opportunity to spot the big cats, with the drive concluding at 6:00 pm. Return to the camp for a delicious buffet dinner and a relaxing evening.
Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Enjoy breakfast at 6:30 am, then set off at 7 am for a full day of game viewing in the park. Spend the day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park under the shade of a croton tree, with views of the expansive landscape.
The Mara is home to one of nature’s most spectacular events: the great migration. This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebra move from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture, followed closely by savanna predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.
Depart Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Nairobi - After an early morning breakfast, guests will check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. There is an optional visit to a Maasai Village available at an additional cost. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at the city center or their hotel in the city center, marking the end of the tour.
