This is the way to see Nara! - Andy Murao was amazing! He created a custom itinerary for us based on our interests and arranged lunch for us mid-day. He was knowledgeable about all the sites and was very kind. We enjoyed our day with him!

Kind and Professional Guide - Atsuko-san was a fantastic guide during the 6 hour walking tour of Naha. She is trained in archaeology and educated me on the different historical sites we visited together. She is kind, respectful, and patient and would wait for me to finish photographing the areas before resuming her tour. She was flexible and allowed me to choose the sites I was most interested in learning about. She provided great recommendations for lunch, and she led me to a lovely pottery shop in Tsuboya Yachimun to end the day with a little shopping. I had a wonderful day with Atsuko!

Perfect Private Tour Day - We had a great day guided throughout Okinawa. Our guide was Michie and she communicated a number of times ahead of our visit (came from a cruise) to personalize the day. We saw a lot, had an amazing lunch, and it was a nice balance of what we were looking for. It’s great you can customize.

A wonderful and comprehensive day in Naha, Japan - Our day with Hiromi in Naha was truly unforgettable. Her knowledge and passion for the history and culture of Okinawa were evident from the moment we met her. She took us on a comprehensive tour that included Shuri Castle, Naminoue Shrine, Tama-u-Dun Mausoleum, Shikinaen Royal Garden, and even guided us through Kokusai Street for some souvenir shopping. Hiromi's insights into each site we visited were enlightening, and her anecdotes brought history to life. At the Tama-u-Dun Mausoleum, she shared captivating stories about the Ryukyu Kingdom, making the site even more meaningful. The Shikinaen Royal Garden was a serene oasis, and Hiromi's explanations of the traditional architecture and plants added depth to our experience. For lunch, Hiromi took us to a local gem where we indulged in delicious soba noodles. It was clear that she knew the best places to eat and was keen on providing a well-rounded experience of the local cuisine. Hiromi's warmth and friendliness made our tour even more enjoyable. She navigated the day seamlessly, ensuring we saw all the highlights while also catering to our interests. We highly recommend booking a tour with Hiromi for an enriching and delightful exploration of Naha. Thank you, Hiromi, for a wonderful day that we will cherish forever.

Amazing Day With an Amazing Guide - We enjoyed our time with Hiromi touring the historical and local sights of Okinawa. The setting for the palace was beautiful, and it was very interesting to visit the local market to see and sample local treats. The visit to the WWII Japanese tunnels was very interesting and a somber reminder of the horrors of war. Hiromi finished our tour by singing a local song for us. That was delightful, and she has a great singing voice! We will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a guide in Okinawa!

Great Day at Okinawa World - We had an excellent tour with Hiromi. She customized the itinerary to our liking, visiting Okinawa World and the Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters, providing informative details along the way and translating as needed. We even got an unscheduled stop at a local Japanese restaurant suggested by the taxi driver for a truly authentic meal. It was a truly memorable day.

Very good - We had a lovely, fine day in Naha. Hide allowed us to change the itinerary to see places that interested us. He was very informative especially about the history of Naha, Okinawa. A few stops at craft workplaces were interesting but would rather see more sights. Be prepared for extra costs for taxis.

Great day out. Comprehensive tour of Naha. - Hyde was a great guide. His English was very good. We turned it into a taxi tour so we could see more. The Peace Museum was excellent and the cave was very interesting and beautiful eventhough there were a lot of steps.
