VENICE - Really enjoyed the whole tour to Venice. Our tour guide and bus driver were fantastic. We had a ride on the Gondola. Can't go to Venice and not have a go on them 🙂

Very nice day tour with 3 Things to do. - Very nice tour with the great tour guide Thomas. The city tour, the gondola ride and the boat tour were very interesting, the schedule was kept very well. The latter two Things to do must be paid for in cash.

Lake Garda to Venice day tour - Excellent tour , excellent tour guide , gondola and boat tours extra but again well worth doing Well worth the money ,

Brilliant day out. - We had a lovely day out in Venice with this tour. Very well organised tour from start to finish, and the guide Frederico couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful,he was a thorough gent from start to finish and made the day special. I would highly recommend booking a trip with this company.

Venice tour - Great tour. Very informational and you could tell the guide knew his stuff and cared. Bus ride was super comfortable too and everything went very smoothly.

Good trip to Venice - Long transfer time but well managed with a service station break - there is the option to do a gondola trip -extra35e -lunch 19e and island boat trip 25e I think initial price for the trip -given it only covers return bus -big shared boat to Venice and short walking tour -is a bit steep. Also have to pay 10e entry charge for Venice ur enjoyable day

Depends where you’re staying - Was a good day out, however if you stay at limone, riva or further out it will take a very long time on the bus as the bus goes around the whole lake and it is very tiring, as making a lot of stops and the same on the way back, I think we spent most of the day in the bus, it is better suited for people staying in peschiera and the surrounding area. Another thing that I really didn’t like was that I was asked to move from my window seat and move to sit next to someone in the isle seat just to accommodate another couple, felt a bit awkward as I didn’t want to be rude and say no, but it was annoying to do that and spend the whole way sat to some stranger when initially I was next to my friends that were sat across from me, made the experience a lot worse especially all those hours spent in that bus..I would put less stars but Venice was lovely though even if it was raining

All good. Apart from the guide! - This did not start well. 5 minutes before we were due at the coach pick up point (7.40) my phone rang at 7.35 and a man's voice was shouting 'where are you, where are you' we were literally 3 minutes away and he roared that they cannot wait. I said give me five mins and we will be there. He then suggested it would take more than 5 minutes 'to come out from the bed' Anyhow we arrived at the bus to more aggression, threats of police due to waiting in the bus stop, more people to collect etc. WE WERE NOT LATE. HE WAS EARLY. We had a nice trip after this although I couldn't converse with him all day after that, he came across as very unfriendly towards us. We booked a boat tour then cancelled it as I didn't want to be around him. His passive aggression didn't sit right with me. Venice is a beautiful city, but the crowds were hard work and you must be very protective of your possessions due to pick pockets. Previous trip to the Dolomites with Helena was fabulous, both driver and guide were excellent, friendly and very professional. Really enjoyed it and both trips were well worth the money.

Beware of unexpected expensive add-ons - We booked this trip from Lake Garda to Venice largely for the hassle-free transport to Venice and in that respect it was satisfactory. Although we booked the English language tour we ended up on the English and German languages tour, but that was also tolerable. The tour was advertised as having an optional extra of a gondola ride... something we didn't intend doing. On the day the tour guide also tried to upsell a private boat trip in Venice; apparently something different to the private boat trip referenced as included in the trip details and available as a cash-only extra option, but presented by the tour guide as "the most important part of the day". We didn't take the extra boat trip so cannot comment on how good it was or otherwise. Hopefully Viator will engage with the operator so that the trip description is more accurate than at present.
