A wonderful day out! - Awesome experience highly recommend. I was picked up by Ravi from my hotel (who was early) and was in very safe hands for the rest of my tour. He made sure that we had the best possible experience, giving us inside local knowledge and experience always with a true Fijian smile. Hot tip: If you get the option absolutely get a massage at the mudbaths!!

Private Day Tour with Manoj - Our tour guide Manoj took us on an amazing, insightful journey through Nadi which we are so grateful for! He talked to us in depth about the history surrounding the temple, made sure we were comfortable at the hot springs and took photos of us at every stage. We didn't realise we had booked a private tour, but we were so happy that we had as it meant the plans were very flexible depending on what we wanted to do and when. Thank you so much Manoj for the great tour!

Nadi / Temple (good)/ Garden of the Sleeping Giant (good) / Hot Spring-Mud Pool (just okay) - Our driver/tour guide (Manoj) was fantastic and I highly recommend him. We were picked up on time at our hotel, then he went to pick up one more guest. There were only the three of us on the tour. This made it was great. We were able to get to all the locations in his taxi, which is nicer than most of the taxi's in Nadi. We went to the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple. Manoj does tours there regularly and is very knowledgeable. Another couple joined us for the temple part of the tour. It was fascinating to learn about the temple and Hindu religion. Next we went to the Nadi main market in Nadi. There was so much there for sale from Fijian farmers, lots of produce, eggs and fish. Manoj told us how the farmers rent space in the market to sell their crops. Later we stopped at a village for a tour. One oif the ladies from the village showed us around and explained village life to us. After the tour they have an area where each of the ladies has a table to display various Fijian items for sale . The Garden of the Sleeping Giant is really nice. Manoj took care of the entry and then let us explore on our own. I would recommend good walking/hiking shoes. Some of the areas are uneven. The walk up to the top is a bit steep and rocky. The views are really nice! When you finish they give you a cold glass of fruit juice. A short distance away is the Hot Spring/Mud Pool. Again Manoj took care of the entry and we were greeted by a guide. There is an area to change cloths and rinse of later. First they take you too a mud pool. There is a bucket with mud that you are supposed to spread on your skin and let dry. The hot spring/mud pool guide will take your phone/camera to take pictures for you. Then you get in the muddy looking pool. The bottom is mud and grass and feels strange under your feel. Next they take you to a warm pool that has a rock bottom. Here you can get the rest of the mud off your body. The water is warm. It appears there "pools" are dug into the ground and the warm water is piped in from some other location. Next you are taken to the third pool of warm "clear" water for a swim/rinse. Another group was already in this pool and their guide was there chatting with them. Our guide asked if we wanted to purchase a massage. When we declined she said she would be right back, but she never came back and disappeared with my phone! After a while, we got out of the pool and changed. I tracked down our guide at the original mud pool with a new group of people. I would say the hot spring/mud pool was my least favorite part of the tour.
