Phase 2 will begin with a tractor ride to the beautiful waterfall called salitral, this will a short hike, at the end of this slight walk we will take a short walk to the volcanic spa where we will find the sauna with volcanic rocks, the volcanic mud where you can apply it to your skin and see the incredible benefits, and to finish this great tour we will do the hot springs with different temperatures.

One of the main reasons to book this tour is to see as much as you can of Costa Rica in one day, the whole combination of nature, adventure and culture, for example you can do one of the best canopies in Costa Rica followed by hanging bridges across of the transitional rainforest, added to this you will have the opportunity to share our culture and learn a little about it, you will also have a dose of adrenaline by doing the longest slide in Costa Rica (1240 feet), also the view being at 2400 feet The sea level will be unbeatable, and at the end of the day we will visit real hot springs and a volcanic mud bath excellent for the skin. For all this and more, this tour is great and unique.

Best time! - Marvin was a fantastic guide! He went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of and even helped us to see the nearby monkeys. The pick up was flexible and worked out with our long drive. We enjoyed each piece of tour and it had so much to offer. Loved the fresh passion fruit drink at the start, all the excursions and the colonial experience too. Definitely worth the price and the drive! Loved it.

Loved all the activities - This was so awesome! We had a blast with all of the activities. The waterside was my favorite and the hotsprings a close second! We loved it and David was an awesome guide very friendly and made it a great time

A beautiful experience - This experience was once in a lifetime. The zip line was incredible, the water slide was so fun, the enrichment experience and horseback riding were magical, and the hot springs were so healing. We had a wonderful guide Rene, who talked us through all the wildlife and made us laugh the whole way through. You are missing out if you don’t do this excursion!! My husband and I had the most amazing time and would definitely do it again if we are lucky enough to come back to this gorgeous, humble, and serene country.

Great (full) day on a volcano - We just finished our trip with Rene. It was a really great day. The drive from The Westin, where we were staying, was long (2 hours) but comfortable. Rene took great care of us all day, though. From the moment we got in the car to the time we returned. He was on every activity with us, or waiting at the end with a smile (and often a towel).
The zip lining was awesome, the horses were great fun (and seemed well cared for), the water slide was unique. The hot springs were a great way to relax at the end of the day.
Be prepared to get back to your hotel tired and happy.

Volcano Combo Tour. Best deal if you want to experience it all - This was an incredible experience for the whole family. The Best Day Ever was extremely easy to book with and bargain priced. They are extremely focused on customer service. We had a family of six and stay an hour and a half from the excursion. They had no problem coming out to get us and bring us back. We booked the Volcano Combo Tour. Our guide for the day was Eithel. He was amazing! I would highly recommend requesting him for your guide. He took care of everyone’s need and comfort. He would stop along the way to point out wildlife and his knowledge and enthusiasm about his country and culture was refreshing. If you are limited on time for excursions then the Volcano Combo is a must! We had one day and they packed it all in. Zip Lining, Hanging Bridges, Longest Waterslide, Waterfall hikes, Mud Baths, Sauna, Hot Springs, Horseback riding, Lunch, and a Cultural Demonstration. Added bonus was the Sloth, Toucan and numerous other birds, different kinds of monkeys, and even raccoons. Eithel made the whole day exciting and helped generously get us from one activity to the next. The ages of our group ranged from 9 yr to 72yr. Everyone was comfortable with the activities. We will definitely book with The Best Day Ever for any other future excursions.

Very fun experience. The... - Very fun experience. The hike up is a little intense for someone who doesn't work out. So make sure you're prepared, bring sneakers to walk up. Rene was a awesome tour guide. He really made my birthday special. Very glad we did the tour. It is a little long but you get to see the beautiful Costa rica. We saw monkeys on the hike and a toucan on the tractor ride. Thank you so much Rene!!!
