Visit Samui Elephant Home for wonderful experiences at a real sanctuary! - Samui Elephant Home is a must-do experience for anyone who loves elephants! Samui Elephant Home is a true sanctuary that rescues elephants from abusive shows and logging operations. They give their elephants lots of space to roam and behave naturally. My family did a one-hour feeding tour and a longer, half-day elephant care tour. Both were excellent experiences that allowed you get personal with their beautiful elephants! Feeding and bathing with the elephants was unforgettable. The one-hour tour is appropriate for all ages, and the half-day tour is appropriate for big kids and up. At the same time, Samui Elephant Home put the well-being of the elephants above catering to tourists because sensitive elephants were kept at a distance from visitors. Never ride elephants or pay to see a "show" -- visit Samui Elephant Home instead.

Great experience and would highly recommend - Picked up in comfortable mini bus and taken to elephant sanctuary. Greeted by Angie our English speaking guide for the day who was very informative and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and lunch was very enjoyable too. We weren’t informed that we could have “bathed” with the elephants so didn’t go equipped but if you would like to do this make sure you take a towel and swimwear

Absolutely amazing, not to be missed! - Absolutely amazing, not to be missed! From preparing the food and feeding the elephants through to learning about their individual personalities and how much they are cared for, this was the most beautiful and humbling experience 😊 To spend time with them in their natural environment was a privilege. Angie and the rangers were brilliant, and the lunch was delicious 😊 Thank you so much 🙏

Great Time at the Elephant Home - I love elephants and I did my research to make sure that this sanctuary was genuine and ethical. There are six ladies, each with their own personalities and one 2 year old male who was very cute. I had the opportunity to feed the elephants and get up close, the sanctuary is large and caters for all their needs. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel very welcome There was food served at the end which was very tasty and after this we were shown a video of our visit which I enjoyed which they let us download for free If more people visited these ethical sanctuaries rather than go on elephant rides maybe we would see the end of elephant hooks being used to control elephants and the end of elephants being chained up

If you love elephants, this is a must! - A must do! This sanctuary is a healing place for the elephants they have rescued and for any visitors that choose to go. To be up close and personal with these amazing animals was a dream come true. We are given important educational info about the elephants and an opportunity to observe them in a natural environment. If you get an opportunity to visit while Lucky is still small, take it! He is very entertaining and watching his adopted mother Maria take such good care of him is very touching. LOVED EVERY MINUTE! Make sure to pack your swimmers if you want to help wash the elephants. Gluten free, vegan & halal food options available. I feel blessed to have experienced this and supported an organization doing what they can to help the elephants.

A magical moment - We had an amazing morning and a magical time with elephants. You can really see that the center has a great kindness towards elephants and that it is not just an activity for tourists. By going there we also contribute to their well-being and it is really just happiness. Best activities in koh samui. Even if the price is high when you are there, you can understand why. Many thanks to the whole team and congratulations for what you do.

Amazing animals - An amazing experience to meet elephants up close. It is about elephants that have been rescued from chains and now socialize with people on their terms. Of course, the best thing is that elephants get to live in the open, but with that start in life, it is not an option. An extra plus is that the elephants learned to leave the spectators when they get tired of the activity, then they go to theirs.

Good interesting experience - Very good experience to see and feed elephants. The guide was funny and interesting. Very dynamic. They gave us the film of this experience. Only downside: the bath in a pool with 2 large elephants and too many people around (dangerous). Not enough time to eat the meal. They were in a hurry to put us back in the 4/4 to take us back to the hotel Otherwise very good time we advise to make this excursion.
