Not a class - but a dinner at home with new friends. - My wife and I, and our nieta Talia, prepared a meal with Max and his wife (and his in-laws). It was raining that evening and Max surprisingly offered to pick us up at our Airbnb. Our experience was not really a cooking class. It was more like being invited into a welcoming stranger's home to make and share a meal with the entire family around and in and out. And, yes, the cooking was in the home. This was an unforgettable experience and I recommend this company/family without reservation. At evening's end, Max even drove us back to our casa. His hospitality was far beyond our expectations of the experience. Oh, and yes, the food was all prepared by us from scratch and was delicious.

A unique experience for all ages - There wasn’t much communication at the beginning in terms of exactly who to meet up with, but once we figure that out it was a very pleasant experience. We went to their house and the entire family was friendly and outgoing. We made some good food and I would highly recommend it for everyone else.

Wonderful evening - After the pick-up at the meeting point took a while because we couldn't get in touch, we had a wonderful evening! The family we visited was so nice. The cooking class was small and manageable. We cooked delicious food, learned something about it and had more than enough to eat afterwards. We learned about the culture and other customs. After a delicious dessert, we played a casual game and were given Mexican sweets to take home with us. It was simply a wonderful experience!

Super fun experience - What a fun experience it was. We went with her to Pamela's house and there we cooked together with her mother. Pretty much the whole welcoming family was present. After that I had a great meal.

Cooking in Merdia Pamela and Beta. - Pamela and Beta and their support team of grandmother, grandfather and little sister were so engaging, welcoming and knowledgeable about Masa and it’s different preparations and applications. The food was delicious and we’re looking forward to cooking a Mayan feast for our friends.

Such a fun and authentic experience - This workshop was honestly one of our favorite activities in Mérida. Pamela welcomed us into her home and guided us through the whole process of making masa and traditional dishes. She explained everything with so much passion and made the experience super fun and easy to follow. We loved learning about the culture behind each dish, and the food we made was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a fun culinary experience, this is a must!
