Lovely Beach Day - We had a great day at Kuza - VIP was definitely worth it. So glad we chose this excursion as part of our cruise. Jorge, Rafa, and the VIP team were fantastic!

Fun day in Cozumel at Kuza! Will def go again!! - We met up with the tour guides at the end of the pier and booked through Royal. Denise and Bernice were on time and super helpful. We boarded a clean AC bus to Kuza. It’s about a 25 min ride. We heard a little about the local island and the. The extra excursions you could book at Kuza. We were one of the first groups and had prime seating in September. Our beach waiter Daniel was happy to help us decide on drinks and we never had to wait for an order. Lunch Buffett included with the VIP was delicious. Food allergen signs were present. Kuza had an employee raking any Sargassum seaweed. There was some present but not terrible. The tequila tasting was wonderful and definitely bought a couple bottles. Kuza was a wonderful park and would definitely consider grabbing a taxi and going straight there in the future for more time.

Kuźa VIP beach - We visited Kuza Beach in Cozumel while sailing on the Disney Dream, and it was one of the highlights of our cruise! From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Our tour guide, Alfredo, was outstanding, he has such a great personality, kept everything fun, and was very helpful throughout the day. Our driver, Raphael, was also wonderful, getting us there and back safely and right on time. The beach itself was beautiful and relaxing. The drinks were delicious and refreshing, and the food was fantastic. Our server, Sergio, provided excellent service and made sure we always had what we needed. The price of the day pass is well worth it for the quality of the food and the included alcoholic beverages. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Kuza Beach to anyone visiting Cozumel, especially if you’re sailing in on a cruise like we did.

Kuza Beach Break - Really nice new resort. Beautiful beach. Only downside was that they are still buoy the water park, pool, and zip line. Our guide Alfredo Cruz was great.

Nice, but not truly a “VIP” experience - Kuzá is a lovely beach club. The staff was friendly, the sand and water were both beautiful. The drinks were good, although seemed a bit weak. Food was good, but not great. Also, we have a gluten allergy and many items were not properly labeled (as discovered speaking with someone working the buffet). The loss of one star is mostly related to their “VIP” offering. We really never felt much like VIPs, other than by chair color and drink availability. The real bummer was at day’s end. Earlier in the day, while hiking the long walk to the VIP area, we were assured a tram ride back directly from the area. It poured in the afternoon, so by 4:15pm, the VIP area was basically cleared out - including staff. We asked the remaining attendant about the promised ride - and he pointed us back to the main area. So, we hiked back, only to find throngs of people waiting (all on excursions) for a tram to the parking lot. We asked about “VIP” tram service, and were told (curtly) that we had to wait behind the excursions. “VIP” meant nothing at this point. It took 45 minutes to get on a tram (they only have two small ones). This was a really lousy way to end the day - especially having paid extra for “VIP” treatment. I strongly recommend Kuza consider using a golf cart to tram VIP guests to/from the remote area. Or, call the option something different than “VIP”.

Just get the basic, not VIP, nice beach. - We booked the VIP Experience. I would not recommend spending the money on it. The drinks were really, really bad. They bring you the prosecco but it is horrible. And the food in the buffet was better than the very very small guacamole and chips they bring you for VIP. I did like the beach. I would recommend this club, but don't waste money on any upgrade. The beach was very nice, no rocks, just sand. They have plenty of chairs available. We snorkled, and saw a couple of little fish but its mostly sand and a little sea grass so not much marine life. Beautiful warm water and no seaweed.

Negative review Kuza resort. - Wife & myself booked the trip via the TUI rep in the hotel (not his fault). As the Kuza snorkelling was recommended. Two VIP passes purchased, meet & greet by taxi driver to the guide at the ferry terminal could not fault them. Taxi from ferry to Kuza resort again faultless. Told by resort staff to chill for about 30 minutes. The call came to board the Perspex boat & kitted out with life jacket. The next thing we know is that the outboard motor would not start. After approximately 15-20 minutes we were asked to go back to the beach. Told it would be at least 1240 ish before boat would be working. At around 1400 we were told that a mechanic had arrived to look at the motor. We were offered 2 alternative activities 1. ATV driving (you needed to have your driving licence, who carries a driving licence when you planned to snorkel all day). 2. Make Guacamole & Tacos. By 1430 we were told that we could have a taxi back to the ferry… AT OUR OWN EXPENSE!! Or wait another 2 hours stranded on the beach. Kuza staff are faultless in their apologies on behalf of their company. Question to Kuza management why was there only one operational boat, sorry one non operational boat & no mechanic at the resort. The changing rooms (toilet cubicles) wooden floor and when wet is lethal & slippery. Shower is outside, which means people are wet when entering the cubicles. Some anti slip mats are needed. Needless to say my Kuza experience is negative.

WE WILL NOT EVER RETURN to this venue. - WE WILL NOT EVER RETURN. They seem to have no interest in accomodating cruisers. We are frequent cruisers and usually get to Cozumel 5-6 times a year. It is far to expensive for the VIP. After paying for the taxi, cover fee ($150 per person), and all the tips, it costs us a minimum of $450. As we cruise in, we don't get all day. On top of that, we are expected to walk 1/4 mile to and from the VIP area of the beach as the cart/tram doesn't pick up or drop off at that area, which seems completely crazy as that is the group paying the most amount of money. We noticed a big difference on our last B2B cruise. We went here both weeks. Contracts were signed with large companies which started on September 1. This was obvious, as the way we were treated the second week was very different from the first week. Again, we will not return.
