Versalles After Dark - Fantastic Food Tour! - My partner and I did the Versalles After Dark Food Tour with Karla and had an absolute blast! The food was excellent, going to five stops we had excellent variety, and it felt authentic and like we were discovering the hidden gems the locals eat at. But for us, Karla was the highlight, she has such a sparkle and personality. Highly recommend!

Yummy tacos!! - Great food tour with Kevin! Tacos were fantastic and Kevin was very knowledgeable and friendly. We would have never visited the food trucks without this tour. It was a great way to try the local cuisine.

Great way to experience Mexico's food, history and culture! - Our guide, Jenny, was fantastic. She gave us all kinds of insights into Mexican history and traditions - things we didn't know even after coming to Puerto Vallarta 20 times or more. There was so much food we couldn't eat it all, but they were willing to package things up so we could enjoy them later at home. Also we were glad there were plenty of bathrooms available along the way. One warning, though: remember you are paying for the time and knowledge of the guide. The food itself would not cost more than 1/3 of the overall price.

Versalles After Dark - don't miss this tour! - We've been visiting family in Puerto Vallarta annually since 2020 and this our second tour with Vallarta Eats and I'm sure it won't be our last. This tour was our favorite so far as it mixed some newer and slightly trendier places (featuring an ahi tuna tostada) with the more old school classics of the neighborhood (a car wash by day, tacos by night business). Versalles is an area you may not otherwise visit on a trip to PV since it's not part of downtown but I assure you it's full of some of the best food in the area. Our guide supplied us all with a bottle of water at the start of the tour upon check in and we enjoyed different auga frescas at each stop, of course in addition to all the food. We could tell that both Vallarta Eats overall and our guide Charlie have so much knowledge and passion about the food scene and history here. Charlie was laid back and approachable while sharing so many interesting facts about the food we were eating, customs and tips for eating in PV in general and more. Somehow he did this while keeping us on schedule but allowing for plenty of natural conversation and questions. Learning "bite sized" tidbits of the history of different dishes along the way was a perfect way to learn while we ate, chatted and had fun. My husband and I are not usually much for tours on vacation but after being brought on our first tour with Vallarta Eats last winter by family, we will absolutely continue to stay in touch with this company to see what they come up with next!

Having taken the Versalles After Dark Food Tour last night we can say to everyone visiting or staying in Puerto Vallarta it is a must do on your list. Whether you are a foodie or not, the tour provides you with an opportunity to discovering the hidden food gems in the Versalles area. Each stop was a different food experience and at the end it was difficult to pick a favorite. Thanks to our neighbor Kathleen for booking the tour for us. A very special thanks to Charlie our food guide. His knowledge of the area and the history behind it. The descriptions of the different establishments we visited and the various foods we sampled at each stop. Also Charlies, relaxed good nature and friendliness and his desire to make sure we all had a wonderful experience on the tour. From all of us, thanks Charlie !!!!!

Five star tour with a five star guide! - We just did the Versalles after Dark with Charlie. Such a great tour! Lots of food! Our guide was interesting and had great facts about the neighborhood and the food we were eating. The food portions were large and we never felt rushed. I would definitely book this tour again and would be thrilled to have Charlie as our guide. Five stars!

Save Your Money and Take Tacos After Dark Downtown - The quality of the food was second rate. I have been on the Tacos After Dark downtown twice and it was a far superior experience. We have also been on your gourmet dinning tour, which was excellent. There are great options in Versalles, which come at a higher price. This tour was designed to maximize Viator profit at the expense of quality. I would not recommend this tour.
