- Al Alam Palace - Al Alam Palace, one of six sultanic residences of the monarch, has a history of over 200 years, and was built under the watch of Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, the 7th direct grandfather of Sultan Qaboos. The existing palace, which has a facade of gold and blue, was rebuilt as a royal residence in 1972. The inner grounds of the palace remain off-limits, but visitors are permitted to stop near the gates and take photographs. Al Alam Palace is surrounded by the Mirani and Jalali Forts built in the 16th century by the Portuguese.
The Palace is used for official functions and receiving distinguished visitors. In January 2012, the Sultan received Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands at Al Alam Palace during her state visit to Oman.

Highly recommend! - It was very nice experience! The captain and guide were very friendly and welcoming!! There was a BBQ and snacks at board. They were also friendly enough to take pictures and video for us under water. We booked the night before and all went wel. The boat tour consisted of 2 stops (one with turtles and one for eating at the islands). We were a group of 11 tourists, there was a great ambiance. Thank you !
They answer super quickly as well, first class service
However during our trip there were no dolphins in sight, we didn't mind at all

Super trip with professional guide - We had a wonderful morning with Fahad on the Dimaniyat Islands. We snorkeled and watched corals, fish and turtles.
It is nice to see how Fahad attaches importance to the animals and corals, he explains how to behave with the animals so that they are not disturbed.
After snorkeling we ate a delicious snack and then drove back to shore.
Fahad took photos and videos during the snorkeling which he sent us at the end of the trip.
During the whole trip we had water and soft drinks available.

Great experience and a good value - Well organized and great communication from start to finish. Highly recommend. The captain and crew are friendly, knowledgable, and prepared. The boat is super - brand new with a bathroom and freshwater shower (heaven after an hour in the salt). They provided sandwiches, fruit, water bottles, and a sweet at the end. The boat goes fast out to the island so you have 40+ minutes out and back with plenty of time to explore two different spots. Gorgeous water, excellent visibility, and lots of beautiful fish and turtles!

Meet the nature - I had an amazing snorkeling experience, full of vibrant fish and stunning coral reefs. The water was crystal clear, making it feel like swimming in an aquarium. Fahad, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable and passionate about nature. He explained everything about the marine life and coral ecosystems, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore marine life with a great guide!

Amazing spots - Amazing spots for snorkeling, plenty of fishes and turtles. If you are lucky enough, you could also see sharks and dolphins.
Fahad is really friendly and caring about nature. You wanna enjoy a peaceful moment? Go for it, you won’t regret!

Swimming with turtles, sandy beaches guided by a genuine ocean lover - This trip to the Dimaniyat islands was the definite highlight of my holiday in Oman and a must-do. We headed out on a boat to the islands and after about 30-mins we already arrived to the first snorkelling site. Right after getting into the water we already saw a huge group of turtles and had plenty of time, about an hour to swim and snorkel with them. Afterwards we took the boat to a second snorkelling site where the underwater world was even more beautiful with corals and a lot of different types of colourful fish and some more turtles. To end the trip we went to a third place very close to the sandy beach of one of the islands. During this time people were not allowed on the actual island, but our guide, Fahad made sure we get as close as possible. What I would like to point out is not only the helpfulness and friendliness of Fahad (I went with my mum who had knee surgery last year so it was a bit harder for her to climb back on the boat and he always had a helping hand for her, also help with using the snorkels), but most importantly his amazing attitude. Towards appreciating and preserving nature, advising us on what not to do to scare the turtles and to make sure we leave nature just as we found it. He radiated a love for the sea and its creatures and I could tell how important this was for him. All throughout the trip we were supplied by water, juices, sandwiches and fruits to make sure everyone has energy.
All in all I had the best time ever and would do this trip again in a heartbeat!
Oh, and afterwards I asked him for the photos and videos he took underwater with his camera and that very day he was kind enough to share it. A huge thank you from me and my mum

Amazing! - So so glad I booked this. I was very apprehensive as I'm not a great swimmer but my guide Farhad was fantastic and reassuring. The turtles were amazing. Very surreal experience. I must add that Farhad also ended up teaching me how to swim without a life jacket. I felt so proud.

A great trip thanks to our captain! - A fast boat ride out to the islands and plenty to see including turtles and fish of different species. Then another trip to another island if you want. This was a beach area that was protected during the bird hatching season. Saw a sting ray Farhad our captain was very attentive and flexible to what we wanted to do. A nice sandwich and great water melon snack was included. Cold water always available. Very enjoyable trip.

Best day - What an amazing day with Fahad and yassen , I felt safe with them and they really looked after us
Without them I don’t think the experience would have been what we had
They truly wanted us to have a great day and is very passionate about what they do which is clear to see

Use another tour operator! - The tour operators were rude, the pick up location was changed last minute to an hour away from the original location.
There was no dolphin watching - just snorkelling.
