From there we continue the tour to the famous fish and vegetable market in Muttrah. Feel free to mingle with the crowd and don’t forget to negotiate!

Only a few meters further we enter the MuttrahSouq! Explore the traditional souq with its mix of old and new handcrafts. Sights, sounds and fragrances are in abundance. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the Corniche and at the Sultan’s Palace, surrounded by the 16th Century Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani.

One of our last stops today is the Bait Al Zubair Museum, learn about the Omani culture and the Sultanate’s history. Another highlight of the day will be our lunch in a local restaurant.

Qantab, a lonely situated fisherman’s village is our first stop after the lunch break. Continuing to Bandar Khayran, famous for its breathtaking beauty of wild beaches, coral reefs and exotic marine life. Get a flavor of the Muscat’s memorable coastline and Khayran village. WadiMayh, with towering limestone cliffs, sand color villages, back garden date plantations, straying goats and feral donkeys, will be our next photo shoot stop and off road driving for 20 min.
