Great experience with Star Tours - We booked Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar tour through Star Tours.They provided a very nice 4×4 vehicle and we enjoyed the drive .Our tour guide Khalid Alraqadi was very nice .He explained things well and showed us beautiful locations .He took a lot of nice pictures for us too.Overall we enjoyed the trip a lot and I highly recommend Star Tours who promptly responded to all the queries we had.

Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Experience!" - The Private Day-Tour in Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar was absolutely fantastic! The views were stunning, from the serene mountain landscapes to the vibrant historic architecture of Nizwa. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured i had plenty of time to explore and take photos. I loved the attention to detail in organizing the itinerary, making the day smooth and enjoyable. A must-try experience for anyone visiting Oman!

Full day tour nizwa - We booked a full day tour to nizwa and jabel akhdar and had a lovely time with Mr Ali. He was wonderful and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. He also has very good knowledge about Oman and that was very refreshing. We were with him for a long time and even though it was a tiring journey he still made us feel very entertained. Would highly recommend to plan your trip through sunshine tours. They are extremely professional and they know how to make your trip memorable.

Wonderful Trip with Star Tour Oman - This is my first time visiting Oman, and I’m already in love with this country. A big thanks to Star Tours Oman and Amer, our amazing guide, who made my experience unforgettable. Amer was incredibly friendly, spoke excellent English, and provided detailed explanations about Oman’s history and the destinations we visited. Fantabulour Nizwa and Jeble Akhdar - I booked this trip thru viator and my Tour Guide was Khalid. He was spot on time at 0900 and we visited the published itinerary which included Nizwa fort- Souq, Jebel Akhdar, the village and lastly the beautiful scenes of Jeble Akhdar. Khalid was extremely polite, knowledgeable and i enjoyed every minute of his company. He did not rush and we had a relaxing day. He has a thorough knowledge of the history and it was interesting to know a lot of things whech were new to me. He was a pleasure to have a company. I strongly recommend Khalid as a tour guide 10/10.

It was excellent. Khalid made our journey fabulous with his kind spirit, knowledge, suggestions. He took us to places where the tour buses don’t go and we saw scenery and sites that were amazing. He also took a lot of pictures which he shared with us. We would highly recommend Star Tours Oman and Khalid!!!

Nizwa Tour- Recommend - Had a lovely day trip with Khalil Al Jabri, we went to Nizwa souq, Nizwa Fort / Castle and Jabal Akhdar. Khalil gave us great history lessons and local knowledge in those areas and was very accomodating and friendly. We also went to a date tree farm and saw Omans water system. I recommend everyone to go with Khalil on this tour, he has a lot of knowledge and is very kind and friendly.

Lovely day with a helpful and friendly guide - I had a lovely day with Khalid. We visited the Nizwa souq and Nizwa fort. Both were very interesting and I was able to buy a few gifts with the help of Khalid. The fort was very interesting but as it was summer it was also very hot! Khalid then suggested we drive to the AlJabal Alakhdr mountains as it is cooler there and this was a great idea! The views were lovely and it much much cooler. We finished with Barkat Almouz (old village) that has the incredible reticulation channels - so wonderful to see.
Car was lovely and comfortable and air conditioning good. Felt very safe as a solo woman traveller. Thanks for a lovely day Khalid!

Wonderful Experience! - This was a wonderful day trip from Muscat! I specifically wanted to go to the Rose fields and see how traditional rose water was made, and this tour made it personalized and did so. My guide for the day was phenomenal and was kind to have me try local foods and explain the origin. He knew the history of the Nizwa Fort and the Jebel Akhdar region very well which made the experience enriching. Great, safe, clean and reliable car. I would highly recommend doing this day trip!
