Bimmah Sink Hole – White Sand of Fins Beach – Wadi Shab Adventure – Wadi Tiwi Photo Stop – Ras Al Hadd

Bimmah Sinkhole - Bimmah Sink Hole is a large crater near the sea with a small lake at the bottom, believed to have been formed by a meteor.

Muscat - Our next stop is Fins Beach, which is strikingly white, curiously pebbly, incredibly blue, and absolutely stunning.

Wadi Shab - We then drive to Wadi Shab, a vast canyon gorge lined with palm trees and impressive evidence of the power of water descending from the mountains. After a roughly 35-minute hike through the canyon, we reach one of several crystal-clear water pools. Visitors can swim through the warm waters from pool to pool, eventually arriving at the last pool where an opening among the massive rocks allows us to swim into an incredible crevice cave with a small waterfall. Inside, sunlight filters in from outside, turning the water a beautiful turquoise blue while water showers down one side of the cave from the wadi beyond.

Wadi Tiwi - Our next stop is the Wadi Tiwi photo stop, named after the coastal village of Tiwi. This beautiful wadi, with its lush plantations, offers a different (certainly greener) feel than many other wadis.

Sur – Dhow Factory – Omani Ghazal Farm – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands Desert – Watching Sunset

Sur - After breakfast, we depart the hotel and drive to Sur. In the morning, we will show you the city of Sur with its old fortresses and the famous Arabian Dhow Factory, where you can see traditional wooden dhows being built.

Muscat - We then drive onwards to visit the Omani Ghazal Farm in Al Kamel (Asilel Farm).

Wadi Bani Khalid - Next, we drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the largest and most beautiful wadis in Oman. Here, you can swim, sunbathe, relax, and have a picnic in the scenic wadi canyons.

Wahiba Sands - In the late afternoon, we continue to our desert camp in the Wahiba Sands desert, where you can relax or take part in an adventurous 4×4 drive in the sand dunes. We will then watch the stunning desert sunset from one of the large sand dunes. We end the day with dinner at the camp and a romantic time around a campfire.

Zukait Tower Tombs – Jebel Akhdar – Birkat Al Mouz Old Village – The Irrigation System of Al Katmyn – Muscat

Wahiba Sands - Watch the sunrise early in the morning from the dunes before breakfast. At approximately 8:30 AM, we depart the Wahiba Sand Desert with some stops for photos in the dunes.

Muscat - Our next stop is the Zukait Tower Tombs in Izki. This stunningly well-preserved site was declared by UNESCO to be an “array fossilized bronze age landscape,” acting almost as a time capsule for the BCE era. The rich landscape that is home to these beehive tombs was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1988 and has continued to provide a treasure trove of data for archaeologists from around the world.

Jebel Akhdar - Our next stop is Jebel Akhdar, also known as the Green Mountain, which is part of the Al Hajar Mountains range in the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. It rises to a height of 2,980 meters and encompasses the Saiq Plateau at 2,000 meters above sea level.

Birkat Al Mouz Ruins - After lunch, we drive towards Birkat Al Mouz, a unique village nestled into a mountain face. The irrigation system of Al Kattmyn, one of the five irrigation systems of Oman, was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2006. We then continue our drive back to Muscat.
