The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers.

At about 8:30 in the morning, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of the beautiful Muscat city. Our first stop will be the magnificent mosque that houses one of the largest single-piece Iranian handmade carpets in the world, along with a few others. This awe-inspiring carpet, weighing a staggering 21 tons, can host up to 20,000 congregants. Following this, we’ll take a scenic drive around the ministry buildings and the area of the Royal Opera House. We will then make a brief stop at Qurum Beach for photos before heading to the Muttrah Souk, where you can shop for a variety of memorable keepsakes. We then proceed to the Al Alam palace, the official residence of his majesty, followed by a visit to two Portuguese forts, Al Jalali and Al Mirani. These fortresses offer fascinating exploration with numerous spots for wonderful photos. After this, we’ll visit the final palace, Al Bustan, for further exploration. We’ll conclude the tour with a stop at the parliament for a photo session, where you’ll have the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful scenes in Muscat.
