Fun food tour - Our guide Umut was extremely prompt and communicated with us the day before and morning of our tour. He was full of interesting information and lead us to some great hidden spots for wonderful food and interesting view points.

A very pleasant walk around Antalya with some wonderful local food - We were picked up on time from our cruise ship. We were dropped off with the first stop a delightful restaurant serving traditional borek and chai tea. We went for a tour of the old town on foot. Stopping at overlooks of the harbor. Seeing the character of the restaurants and hotels and narrow streets. We spent time in a museum near the water that had traditional Turkish items and dress from a couple hundred years ago. On to the water, and an elevator ride to the main square and we began to hit the restaurants. Kabobs of beef and lamb the first stop. Next stop was a piyaz , a white bean, tomato, olive oil, vinegar, parsley, and several other items to make a salad. Delicious! Also a pumpkin dessert, also amazing. On to meze’s, appetizers. Can’t remember the names of the items but there was a spicy tomato item, bread, grape leaf wraps. Not my favorite but others in the group liked it. Next was stuffed mussels. That was magic in your mouth. Very good! Lastly we stopped at a sweet shop for Turkish delight and baclava. So good, we were stuffed! They whisked us back with 30 minutes to spare to the cruise ship.
