A great visit to Sea Life Munich - Me and my ten-year-old son were here on 08 August 2025. We decided spontaneously, without advance booking, for the ES and did not regret it.
The premises are divided into different geographical zones and the child found ES very interesting to learn more about “native” waters such as the Isar and the Danube. All aquariums are very nicely designed. The information about individual fish species is available to exactly the right extent and the employees impart their knowledge about the underwater world in a great way. At the end of our two-hour visit, we learned a lot about sharks and are still excited about them.
I would recommend a visit here without restriction.

- ES was nice, I had mainly come for the Animal Crossing event and was not disappointed. Was just very ENG by the many strollers

Worth a visit! - I had a wonderful day at the aquarium! The diversity of marine life was impressive, and the aquariums were beautifully designed. I especially liked the great variety of colorful fish and fascinating sea creatures. The atmosphere was relaxed and educational, perfect for a family trip or a day of discovery. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I can recommend the aquarium to anyone interested in the underwater world – it’s an experience you won’t forget anytime soon!

Small but very cute aquarium - On a rainy day we decided to go to the aquarium located inside the Olympic center (metro stop U3 olimpiazentrum, then 10 minutes walk following the signs).
L 'aquarium is small but very well maintained with a special mention to the tunnel which is really impressive.
It costs 24€ (a bit expensive) and children up to 2 years do not pay.

Fun for 1-2 hours - Can get quite cuddly with a lot of visitors, is not enough for a whole day, rather for 1-2 hours. Priced OK

Nice and good.:-) - very short waiting time by reserving the ticket online. Friendly staff at the entrance who explain everything. We were 3 adults and a teen (15) and had a nice morning. All well done, lots of interesting information and explanations. Everyone can still learn something and "get to know" the inhabitants of the water a little closer.

Visit - A bit disappointing thought that the facility is bigger and more animals can be seen. Few toilets not very clean

Dogs unwanted - Unfortunately, the dog is not allowed in, not directly recognizable on the homepage, you have to search for it first.
Also in the gift shop the dog is not welcome, you are very unkindly advised that the ban applies in the whole area, so you can not buy coffee as a waiting one unless you tie the dog outside to what is a no go.
Tiny on the open terrace you can stay with dog.
It's a shame, because some dogs have better behavior than some visitors.
Perhaps the operators should start thinking about taking dogs with them, I think very desirable.

Rip-off in Munich - All too ENG for the many people
Entrance ticket for families much too high 2 adults and 3 children over 100 €
I wouldn't recommend this, there are much nicer aquariums

Disappointing - I can't say anything about the exhibition itself, DA we didn't get the chance to visit Sea Life - despite pre-booked tickets. We had an arrival of about 2 hours, due to accidents and traffic jams on the route we would have arrived 20 minutes after our reserved slot time (you have to specify your arrival time to within 15 minutes at the time of booking). Upon telephone inquiry we were informed that due to the delay we can no longer visit the exhibition because everything is reserved. With three very disappointed young children we then started the journey home again after several driving times of unfinished things. ES does not show any customer orientation in such cases if ES is not willing to find solutions, we will not recommend Sea Life because of this service!
