2 amazing palaces, must see! - Both palaces were absolutely amazing ans worth seeing! The only thing I would have wanted to be different was that the time (4 hours) near Neuschwanstein castle was organized in a way that you get tickets with a certain time slot to enter the castle for the tour there and you can't choose the time of the entrance. In our case that time was close to the departure time, meaning you have to have have lunch and see whatever else you want in the village prior to visiting the castle, because after the scheduled visit to the castle you have to return to the bus. We would have wanted it the other way round - first visit the castle, then do whatever else you wish. Apart from this everything was perfect!

We loved this tour. The... - We loved this tour. The guide, Pedro, was wonderful and helpful. Also gave us good recommendations for food. The castles and village were beautiful. Would have preferred for the entrance fees to the castles to be included with the overall tour fees as opposed to being in the fine print. Other than that everything was great.

Awesome trip! - Awesome trip! I recommend everyone to do this if your physical in shape. There are lots of walking and hundreds of steps. This is the way to go to avoid the numerous crowds there. Edith our tour guide was awesome! I gave this a four star because the tickets for the palace, castle and shuttle should be included in the original purchase price of the tour do that it’s all paid for up front. This is 2025 and paying for these in cash is ridiculous. Tourist should be able to purchase this excursion and pay for it all up front. Also I couldn’t believe that there are only two shuttle buses. Many were turned away because they had no Euros and they wouldn’t take cards therefore they had a 40 minute walk up to see the castle and making them late and their ticket was no good. You must enter the castle exactly the time on your ticket. Again it’s terrible how these places don’t take credit cards. It’s unbelievable

Castle - It was well planned, however the time is limited. The guide was well versed on the area. We were limited on the time we had.

Beautiful Castles & Palaces — A Packed but Worthwhile Day! - This was a great way to experience two incredible historic sites in one day. Both Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle were stunning — the interiors are beautifully preserved, and the tours provided fascinating insights into the history behind them. As expected, the castles can get quite crowded, and the schedule is full, so there isn’t much downtime to relax. But if you're looking to see a lot in a single day, this is a fantastic option. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to tick off two of Bavaria’s most iconic sites in one go!

Lots of travel time... - Lots of travel time between Linderhof and Neuschwanstein, it’s beautiful countryside, but not much else. Loved our Linderhof guide. Neuschwanstein now does audio guides which weren’t as good as the guided tour we had done years ago. Taking the bus to the bridge was completely worth it to us!

Disappointing Guide - Overall the day trip is set up well with efficient bussing and enough time to see Linderhof, Neuschwanstein, the gardens, and have lunch. However, our guide Maria significantly worsened our trip experience. When we were headed back to Munich from the castle, she showed up 20 minutes later than the departure time she had set. All others were on the bus and she gave the excuse that she had to send a birthday message. We were therefore late arriving back to Munich. Maria’s descriptions of the castles were incoherent. Once we arrived at the castles, Maria abandoned us, and we had to follow another tour company to understand where to go. On the bus, we would have preferred silence instead of having to listen to her describe the things she saw in front of her or hear her discuss Hitlers failed art career.

Where should we be? - The pickup point as sent was not clear. It only named the street, which we didn’t realize until trying to navigate the day of. No landmarks or building numbers had been provided. Digging further into the item details we saw a reference to “city center” which we took at literal face value and followed the signs to the center of Munich. Not the place : ( We had messaged the operator and were sent better information but too late to make the departure time. The address sent with the instructions was seemingly more precise, but neither Apple, nor google could get us there either when we tried out of curiosity to see where we should have been. Assuming pickup points are fairly consistent, some degree of signage would be nice if possible. Precise coordinates, or “What Three Words” would be even better.
