Informative, Well-Organized and Refreshing Tour - Christine conducted our tour and did an excellent job providing historical context for the castles throughout the drive. Everything was well-organized with a clear timeline and ample opportunity to both electively participate in tours inside each castle and explore the areas and shops, etc. It was especially nice to be able to purchase castle-specific tour tickets from onboard the bus. Easy to get to the bus from Old Town. Would highly recommend this tour.

Nice trip! - Very fun day, walk down from the N. castle was pretty easy if you have young children (about 20 mins). Linderhof was very cool as well.

The best trip - Amazing , comfortable , plenty of time to visit both castles and have lunch in the city . Excellent driver and tour guide . I was doubting if using a travel tour bus but it was the best decision .

Beautiful castle tours and excellent guide - This tour was an excellent day trip out of Munich! Being able to buy tickets to the castles on the bus when they were otherwise sold out was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide, Alberto, was very knowledgeable and made the experience super easy for us. The driver, whose name started with an M but I can't remember, did a great job getting us there and back with a smooth ride. 10/10 would recommend if you love seeing beautiful views and castles!

Pretty good - There is a ton of times to do this and that… meet here, get this, stop here, options here, and on and on. I believe there were nine. It would be nice to have a list written since there are so many. First castle tour was horrible, the lady didn’t have her script down so she stopped taking and kept correcting herself , the. She escorted a few out early which ate up time… it went over and was just way too much random information and so poorly given. The big castle was audio and great. Bus was freezing and had no charging abilities for an 11 tour that could have been mentioned. The bus guide was nice and the driver so sweet

Good castle tour - Lots of walking outdoors and inside castles. Lot of time to look around and take pictures (not inside castles through). "Elizabeth" was our guide and she was very knowledgeable.

Worth a visit - Definitely buy the castle tickets on the bus. Our guide Barbara was informative and funny. She kept us entertained and organized. Our driver was phenomenal negotiating those narrow roads on a very rainy day. Note on Neuschwanstein Castle and not the fault of the tour company. The castle allows a new group inside every 5 minutes so you are rushed through room to room. It is beautiful and worth visiting inside but you are given very little time to even take in all that you are seeing.

Misleading tour - I went on this tour today and it was not an enjoyable experience. No where on the tour description does it list that this activity is physically taxing but we were forced to walk 5 MILES down a steep incline to get back to our tour vehicle with no other option. We were told the walk would take 20 minutes but it very nearly took 40 at a brisk pace. We also had to climb approximately 7 flights of winding stairs within the castle. I heard from several other tour goers that they believe this to be ridiculous. A few needed chairs and assistance. This is not what we signed up for at all. Additionally the castle was packed like sardines and we were rushed through a quick audio tour with no actual human guidance. It was not enjoyable and we also had to pay castle entrance fees and for our own lunch. The several mile walk caused a lot of physical pain as many of us were wearing nicer shoes to take photos. We were NOT told to wear sneakers or walking shoes. The only good thing about this tour was the easy transportation and the views of the castle from the bridge. I normally never write reviews as I often enjoy the tours I book on viator but this one was not fun.
