We learned so much in such a short time - Our tour guide was Sarah. She is very short and from Australia. (That is her joke not mine) This tour is very informative and you will learn a lot. It really is a 2.5 hour history lesson of how the events of the time created the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler. Yes the “sights “ were interesting but the real value was getting the information that Sarah presented. Her English was great and she clearly knows more than she could cram into our time together. Our tour started on time (11:30) and ended a little late because there was so much to share. Our tour ended in Old Town a 25 minute walk back to the starting location. This is the second tour we have taken with Radius Tours and both were expertly led and well done by tour professionals. We are from the USA and appreciated the openness with which this terrible subject was dealt with. There was no denial and no sugar coating what happened

Recommended for those who want to discover Munich with an eye for history. - If you are interested in a tour of Munich with the theme ‘Third party’, I can highly recommend a tour at (Munich walk tours). You'll see impressive parts of the city and get clear, nuanced information from multiple perspectives. @Josh, you asked for a review in Dutch – herewith. And quite rightly so: you deserve it. With guide Josh you also have an excellent accompanist, a very good storyteller: he knows how to bring the historical context to life, holds the attention and gives space to think about what you hear. Expect a few hours of deepening, fascinating narratives, city exploration and a good walk – tight buttocks or legs guaranteed. @Josh: One personal question — you told us Germany has the best beer, and that you’ve travelled the world, around fifty countries. But... does that mean you’ve never been to our neighboring country Belgium? 😉

Best walking tour ever! - This was simply the best walking tour I've ever been on. After 2.5 hours and even in the rain I wasn't ready for it to be over. Steve was our guide and so knowledgeable. He was a scholar and historian with a professed deep interest in the rise of the third Reich. I've read a lot on this topic and still learned so much!

None of us thought it was really worth it - I would not suggest this tour. It was honestly one of the worst tours I've ever taken for the following reasons: * The guide (josh) had no plan to his presentation. The tour said it was 2.5 hours. We were 3 hours in and still hadn't finished. It would be better if there was less "blah" conversation and more factual information. I was more interested in the historical significnces of the buildings, more how WWII was started, etc. I didn't care about Germany taking decades to thank the US and Allies to stop the war and then show me a plaque. * The guide, very oddly, had a speaker and a cell phone with a video, that no one could accurately see. If you are going to show some video, please make sure people can see it. Same thing about the pictures. * I was appalled to hear him speak about the USA in 2008 during the "market crash" and mentioned how "everyone can remember when Americans were living in cars"..... HUH?? There were a couple of other "facts" that weren't so factual. * We really wanted to see where Hitler lived, which was part of the tour...... after 3 hours, we still hadn't made it there and we had to leave to get ready to catch our plane. Honestly, we were relieved because the content of the tour was poorly delivered. * The guide was walking so fast and then saying that "getting thru the tour was up to how fast we walked". We all kept up, but honestly, he was the one not sticking to the time. The content was not exciting and very drawn out. Perhaps i would have liked this tour if we had a different guide.

A complete waste of money! - I normally never write when I think something deserves bad reviews but this tour is beyond anything I’ve tried. The tour guide is sexist, lazy and spend 40 (!) minutes talking about himself. The things he says about WW II is something everybody knows and honestly, It’s literally a total waste of money. Take an audio guide instead.

Disappointed - Our guide was very politically opinionated. We are American. Here to learn about Germany and the history of the wars. Not be lectured about the current American party. We were very disappointed. Separated from the group after seeing the Residence. Found several things to do on our own.
