A must for first timers in Munich! - What a great tour! Zsofia was very friendly and knowledgeable, made the tour so much fun. We stopped at places and tried things I never would’ve considered on my own. I would highly recommend this tour for guests of all ages!

Great food, great guide and good times! - Had a wonderful time. One of our goals for our trip to Germany was to try as many local foods as possible. Victoria helped us meet our goal. She was very knowledgeable and fun! We highly recommend a tour with her.

Amazing local experience with excellent food and personalized touch - I consider myself a travel and food connoisseur and try to take a food to her in every city I visit. Black Book Tours did not disappoint. A truly personalized touch with great historical knowledge and pertinent information shared at every stop we made. The food was also fantastic and I feel fortunate we had Katarina as our guide who happens to be the owner and founder of this small woman run business (which I’m thrilled to support). You can truly feel the difference when you are with a local business, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in local Bavarian foods, Bavarian culture, and who has an empty stomach (don’t eat breakfast beforehand as you’re going to get so much delicious food to eat as well as some adult beverages!).

A Gratifying Bavarian Experience at Viktualienmarkt - My visit to Viktualienmarkt was wonderful! I enjoyed every single minute of it. This vibrant market delivered exactly what I was hoping for—authentic Bavarian food, excellent drinks, and a memorable atmosphere. I had the pleasure of enjoying this meal with my gracious host, Katrina, whose warm conversation and insights into Bavarian culture added so much fun to the moment. Viktualienmarkt is not just a market—it's a cultural experience. If you're in Munich and looking for a taste of Bavaria it's a must must visit!!

Lunch and Learn - Food is my favorite way to learn about culture, and this tour had it all: history, easy "rules," and a fabulous selection of Munich-only delights. The tour is planned and paced well, with a good amount of time at each stop. Come hungry! This is the best tour I have done in this city and definitely the best food tour, and I have been on many. P.S. Perhaps skip this tour if you are GF, but other preferences/allergies seemed easy to manage.

Amazing Munich Food Tour!!! - This tour is truly the ORIGINAL and the BEST!!! Don’t be fooled by other tours - they will pale in comparison to this GEM!! This was a major highlight of our time in Munich and was voted by our son as the BEST afternoon of our trip!!! We had an absolute blast with Sophie, our guide, who took us to truly local spots, giving us insights into the food and city culture along the way. We left with full bellies and big smiles for the tastes and memories we experienced!
