Unexpected visit to the salt mines - Tomas Vasir was our driver and guide, and even though we got rained our of the Eagle's Nest and a visit to Lake Konigsee, he proposed a visit to Salzwelten Salzburg instead and a great walk through Salzburg. Tomas was an outstanding guide and a very good driver. Very knowledgeable about local history and places of interest. Thanks, Tomas!

GERMANY 2025 - AMAZING TIME! Wonderful guide. I can’t believe how well organized the trip was. Everyone was timely. The guide was super friendly. She was able to share about much of Hitler’s history about the nest on the roughly 2 Hour drive there. We did stop in Austria for lunch and on the way back. We got extremely lucky with how good the weather was.

A fascinating trip to a key historical venue with an excellent museum and bunker system. - A fascinating trip to see this historical place, which I found very interesting. The journey is long, all the way to Austria, but going to Berchtesgaden and travelling up the winding roads and going into the tunnel in the mountain and the brass lift that went up through the mountain into the birds nest was fascinating, and slightly unnerving in a way to think that Hitler travelled in this exact same lift. The museum and the underground bunker network was also fascinating. Definitely a must see visit.
